Luka Doncic

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I just can't wait to watch Doncic. I think Mavs will be my second favourite team.

Right there with ya! I think he's going to be a very unique player that this league hasn't seen before. Will be buying league pass for the first time to watch the Mavs play

Well, if he isn't, the league will make him one. He is very marketable because of his looks and game. I saw him train with Stephen Curry, so I won't be surprised if he has an Under Armour deal lined up already.

Interesting ... I think he has Steph Curry potential, in terms of impact on the league. DSJ has been working with Curry's trainer this off-season. I think both those guys will be very marketable next year. DSJ is going to be a highlight reel!

Preferring a big man to a wing...maybe.

Preferring Trae Young over Luka Doncic? That's the one that I think will sting the most.

you're right of course. The Kings move, it will look like more of a justifiable mistake. But the Hawks...man, that was weird. I guess the Hawks justified it with the extra draft pick they got, so we'll see how that turns out...they better hit it really fucking big on that pick.

Why, exactly, would Doncic be a player the league hasn't seen before?

Impossible to say for sure what he'll look like as a NBA player, but it's reasonable to say that he's on another level compared to any previous international prospect. He may be more decorated/accomplished than every other international prospect in draft history combined. I'm excited to see how it all translates.

As an international prospect? Possibly. But in terms of how he plays and what he projects to be, I think it's hard to say he'll be something league has never seen before.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm in no way trying to say he won't be good or that I'm not excited. I'm very interested to see what Dallas looks like, and I think Doncic will be a very good player. Just not sure it's fair to say he's some sort of revolutionary type of player.

In a way it's a fool's errand to try to say whether or not a given player will be "something the league has never seen before." Every player is obviously unique in his own way. Doncic is a rare player considering his all-around skill level for a player of his size, and considering his demonstrated leadership ability on a team where he was by far the youngest player. Given that, I think he could be a revolutionary player for the NBA but I don't think any player who hasn't yet played an NBA game can be considered a sure bet to revolutionize the game..

I just want him to succeed so he can be nicknamed 'Magnum Doncic'.

I thought Doncic had a few issues with his body as far as flexibility, hip and alignments goes before he was drafted. It really looks like they are putting a ridiculous emphasize on strengthening his hips and glutes as well as stretching/massaging his hip flexors and hamstrings. Obviously they also know that focusing on his hip will unlock his full potential as it will allow him to be an overall much better athlete and defender.

I wanna see Cedi do that sort of workout(P3) and really focus on improving his core and hip strength...because Cedi's natural athletic ability(vertical leap not withstanding) since young age was off the charts, so building on that should be great. I think bulking too fast in the upper body can be risky; there should be a balance.

He literally had no free time in the off season, so I doubt he had the time to work on these sort of things. Hopefully he will have more time to work individually with trainers like that in the next few years. It's tough being a european nba player...for real.

Korver at 6:00 btw.
