Tonight, the undefeated Detroit Pistons (8-0) visit the Dallas Mavericks (6-2). After a hard fought, defensive game in Houston, Detroit looks to continue their streak of shutting down their opponents and slamming it in their face with their new-found offense. But I have something for you, fans of the motor city. Tonight will be the night where you fill in the next column in your record. Yes, you WILL LOSE in Dallas, mark my words.
Player of the game: Dirk Nowitzki. Obvious choice. He'll shoot an uncharacteristic 40%, but he'll throw down 35 points and have 8 boards. And he'll maraud from the arc, reigning 4 treys.
