I saw it last night and for whatever reason I can’t bring myself to give it a review. But I enjoyed it quite a bit. It was fan-servicey, but in all the best ways. There were a lot of gasps, clapping and cheering in my theater as well. It was awesome to have that communal experience.

As an adult, there was a specific instance that got me to tear up almost immediately, even though I knew it would happen.

Spider-Man has always been my favorite super hero, and while it might not have been the best plot, it’s probably my favorite non-Avengers MCU movie to date, and definitely my favorite of the three.

I'm gonna have to watch a shitty cam version that's floating around online. Fucking Covid.

My favorite parts

- Love stuff with Ned and Peter. Really hope they get another movie together.

- I was actually thinking Happy would end up going, but Mays death was a bit too obvious when the scene started. Still, it was well done.

- You know what’s cooler than magic? Math

- The stuff between all 3 Spider-Men was so good. As @shoes22 said, it was fan service, but in the best ways. You didn’t have to see the other 5 movies to get it, but you are rewarded for doing s
o.

I did. The quality was horrendous, but mu covid stricken family was able to see and enjoy the movie.

Sad ending but itll make the next phase incredible.

Samesies. And it'll hold me over I suppose. I skipped Eternals so I'll watch it when it drops on D+ next month

Sorry brother. I had to watch fucking Endgame like that in a shithole Northern Iraq(contracting). It was a decent cam but you just can't replace that theater experience. Sigh.

NWH was so damn good

Being fair, pretty sure I did the same for Infinity War and Endgame because this shithole town only has one local independent theatre, and it's kinda trashy.

In lieu of the first post-credit scene, I decided to watch Venom: Let There Be Carnage Saturday night.

That was a waste of 90 minutes. One of the worst movies I have seen in a long time

I watched it at work Friday. I legitimately fell asleep sitting up at my desk about 45 minutes into it. Woke up during the end credits scene.

That was the only good thing. Harrelson wasnt awful, but the script was shit. A waste of bringing a highly entertaining actor into the MCU.

How fucking dumb is it that Stange's 1st spell brought him into the MCU & then the second one took him out? Unless Tom Hardy is done with Venom; why have two Venoms? Its pretty obvious that a piece of Venom was here for a reason. I suspect it latches onto Flash for this next trilogy. Also looks like we are going to get Ned finally turning into Hob Goblin./SPOILER]

All while Vulture & Scorpian are out there with their heads up their asses.

Went and saw it this afternoon. The fan service was awesome and rarely felt forced.

We're definitely going to get Agent Venom, right?

Going to go in 2-3 weeks to a 10pm showing for maximum empty theater effect but obviously Ive' had several things spoiled already(it's kind of unavoidable)

While waiting for that, will watch the Hawkeye finale tonight, then slog through the first 3 matrix movies in advance of the new one hitting HBO tomorrow.

I watched Venom 2 tonight.

Seeing the post credits mid scene for No way home before seeing Venom 2 was still cool, but I think it would have been a whole lot better if I had watched them in the correct order.

Great tie in, even if this was a pretty terrible movie.
