Anyone else Marveled out?
Getting there. Just started Hawkeye and it's moving extremely slow and Clint's sidekick kinda sucks. The step dad looks like a cartoon villian and they haven't revealed the main antagonist yet in the show, so ... yeah. Gonna bet it's the step dad.

I was disappointed with Black Widow and Eternals was meh. Shang-Chi was a fun movie and Spiderman NWH was awesome. I'm watching the old X-men cartoons and Daredevil with my girlfriend to keep things fresh, but the fatigue is setting in. Not really excited for the new Strange movie after his portrayal in NWH either. Is WandaVision and Loki worth the time?

I get why people say that, but not yet for me anyways.

I thought Eternals was fine, but even if I thought it was bad, they’ve released very few bad things. Hawkeye, Falcon/Winter Soldier, Black Widow maybe weren’t great, but at the very least solid, but I loved Shang Chi, Loki, Wanda Vision and Spider-Man. As long things keep falling in the range of “solid” to “great”, I don’t think I’ll get sick of it soon.

But I can see how the sheer volume of content could cause fatigue, too.

Actually thought Hawkeye was really good. Black Widow sucked. I have no desire to see Eternals. I liked WandaVision and Loki, but it’s just getting to be too much.

It's only going to get "worse"

Personally, Im not fatigued. I love the history and comics of it, so I eat it up and watch each one, judging them one show/movie at a time.

But I could see how some people could be fatigued or even annoyed, feeling an expectation like they have to keep up and watch it all or just constantly hear it all.

But barring a massive sting of commercial failures in a row, I doubt there is a change to the production outlay which is immense and spans years if not the next decade.

While it can never be quite as big as the comics were in sheer volume, it will be the tv/film equivalent and dwarf any other brand/set of interconnected IP ever

Loki is brilliant.

I agree with this to an extent. The connection to comics and reading/learning more about the lore of each character in their respective universe is exciting. Think the movie formula is wearing a little thin at times and haven't watched enough of the shows to judge them as a whole.

I'm a little exhausted by the sheer amount of content and trying to figure out which show/movie is more of a quality piece of entertainment or just meant to move the universe along. The Eternals felt like a bridge to a bigger story than an entertaining movie. It seemed like Disney/Marvel were cramming to fit everything in that movie. They kinda mailed it in with Black Widow. I don't know... it's not exhaustion for me yet but more anxiety about their thought process for certain characters. Dr. Strange and a new Black Panther specifically.

I'm fatigued.

It would be nice to wait a year before we got more content.

I sort of missing the anticipation of waiting.

I don't think we have a DC thread, but I'm assuming most of you guys are watching Peacemaker. Show is great.

This scene was fucking gold:

Peacemaker has been extremely fun. I didn’t realize Gunn wrote the whole first season. That explains the brilliance.

I know a lot of you are Marvel fatigued, but I’m surprised only FiveThous has mentioned Moon Knight looking good and no one posted the trailer. Personally, I can’t get enough marvel content. At their worst, the projects either have solid action/special effects (Black Widow) or great acting/entertaining characters (the Hulk). At best, they are cinematic events that can be rewatched for decades (Endgame).

To me, what the MCU excels at is taking unknown/unpopular characters from the comics and make them fascinating, either by using an incredible actor (Michael B. Jordan) or retconning the character (Thanos). Moon Knight seems to have a little bit of both.

As a character that I always thought had one of the coolest looks in comics, I nonetheless always found Moon Knight/Mark Spector uninteresting with all the split personalities involved in the comics. This project seems different. Oscar Isaac is an incredibly versatile actor that I think hasn’t gotten the acclaim that he deserves due to the many flops he has been in. Even the successful ones that made money were heavily criticized (3rd Star Wars trilogy and X-Men apocalypse), but not because of his acting. Even his brief screen time in Dune was perfect for the role. It appears Marvel has cut down on the multiple personalities and went more for a split personality look. Even if they did go down the multiple personalities road, I think Isaacs is the perfect actor to pull it off. As far as the Moon Knight design, it looks just as sensational in the MCU as in the books even though it appears to be more of a darker mummy wrap costume then the bright monotone white look of the books.March can’t get here fast enough.

Man I don't know what it was but I really didn't care for the Eternals. I'm super stoked for Celestials because that was bad ass. When big red guy teleported in front of Earth and then peaced out? Fucking terrifying.

Anyways took me 3 tries to watch it. Favorite character was the tech Eternal, followed by the camera guy. It's the new Thor 2. Watch it once to get what you need for future movies and never again. I think I'd actually rather watch Thor 2 over this.

I’m not convinced that Kingpin is actually dead.
Agree

I think we can just about guarantee he is not dead.

That scene was basically taken directly from Echo's origin story. The gun shot only temporarily blinds Kingpin. My assumption is he will be in Echo's solo series looking for revenge.
