Lots of information out of the Disney investor day presentation this past week, confirmed some casting rumors, some new things announced, lots to look forward to over the next few years:

Also trailers for the first three Disney+ shows:

Really looking forward to year packed full of new MCU content after the drought of 2020.

I thought they announced that the black panther line was effectively done in respect for chadwick bozeman?

They confirmed they would not be recasting the character but that the movie was otherwise proceeding as scheduled. My first guess is they probably use the movie to hand the mantle to Shuri, just much sooner than they probably originally expected to.

Moon Knight, Blade, and Fantastic Four? Fuck yeah.

FF, finally we get to see Doom.

It will be good to see a new big baddie.

Outside of Thanos and Loki, they were a little light on really memorable super-villains in the last phase.

I mean there were some good villains, but not ones on the level of being powerful enough to threaten the Avengers.

I am interested to see how the introduce Adam Warlock as well.

Kang should be the next big bad introduced in AntMan & Wasp: Quantumania, but I'm fearful they're going to go with Thane instead.

I enjoy Thane in some of the comic storylines he has appeared in but would definitely be disappointed if they try to position him as the next big bad for the MCU. Would feel like such a retread after such an ambitious first three phases. Thanos was fantastic but hoping they leave his story in the past going forward and they won't try to branch off of it with Thane while there are still other great options for major villains out there.

Though I do assume we will see Thanos again in smaller capacities. Wouldn't surprise me to see him with some sort of cameo in the Eternals. And I think any future Nova movie could sensibly begin with Thanos destroying Xandar. But both of those feel sensible enough to do if they want some sort of Thanos content in new movies.

I want Kang, but if they're not going the Thane route, expect Dr. Doom with a Battleworld ending arc.

I'm a big fan of that Hickman Avengers run so I would love another two part Avengers movie set with the incursions and Battleworld at some point down the line. With how heavy the multiverse seems to be featured coming up I do wonder if they are going to go that direction and have all the new timelines created out of Endgame and the movies that follow cause some sort of disruption that triggers the incursions.

I am excited for the FF/Doom, but maybe just as much about Moon Knight -- II was a huge fan of the Bill Sienkiewicz Moon Knight (yes, I am "mature")

Been slowly watching through the MCU in timeline order (I'm up through the Guardians/Age of Ultron).

Favorites so far (no order):
- Iron Man
- Iron Man 3
- Capt. America: The Winter Soldier
- The Avengers
- Guardians of the Galaxy (Vol. 1 & 2)
- Age of Ultron (slightly disappointing, but still a fun movie)

Only movies I can say I didn't particularly care for, as in, wouldn't probably watch again are Thor: The Dark World and Captain Marvel.

Strangely enough, I think the two Guardians movies (along with the first Avengers) are my favorites. Didn't see that coming honestly, but I love that cast of misfits and morons.

How is Ed Norton's Hulk not on your list of movies you probably wouldn't watch again?

Or did you skip it?
