So there's a lot to unpack here. From what I've gathered, there are several revelations from this episode:

  • Rambeaux has powers now as evidenced by her xray not showing up.
  • She can obviously dip into other multiverses with the X-Men's version of Pietro
  • Reed Richards is somewhere on the planet as the astrophysicist or whatever they mentioned they could call. (aerospace engineer)
Not sure if there was anything else of note.

Bullet #3. Holy shit if they make that happen. All MCU shows will be must watch. I've been expecting Dr Strange to be the final savior but anything is possible with Xmen Pietro showing up.

I also wonder if Monica Rambeaux blames Carol Danvers for her mother’s cancer, or if there was some kind of split between the 2? Her reaction to when Jimmy Woo mentioning that Captain Marvel had Thanos on the ropes seemed like she would rather not give Danvers the credit.

I did like how they use the internet debates, such as who’s the most powerful Avenger, in telling this story. Wanda and Carol both at one point had Thanos on the ropes until there was interference.

Holy Fuck. What an excellent episode.
Episode 5 was incredible.

Honestly, this show is deserving of an emmy award. Every aspect of it is top notch...the writing, directing, pacing, acting (Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany show off insane acting chops week in and week out, and the guy who played Norm did an impressive job this week as well).

It manages to satisfy both hardcore Marvel fans as well as people who have never watched anything Marvel before, and they successfully juggle between multiple genres per episode without dropping the ball on any of them.

Truly ambitious what Marvel Studios is doing right now, and they’re knocking it out of the park.

It was an aerospace engineer, right?

So, what are everybody's theories?

To take a few notes from the comics, I believe Mephisto is pulling the strings, but that Wanda is complicit. Made some sort of "deal with the devil" for increased powers to hold this whole reality together. If it goes along with the comics, Mephisto will eventually reabsorb the twins, which will further drive Wanda into madness... which is the House of M storyline (Multiverse of Madness perhaps?)

I think this is it but ultimately they come back (Funko has created Wandavision 2 packs with them). I could see Richard's coming into play but at the end of the day Dr Strange has to be involved because this will ultimately lead to his movie.

All this multiverse shit is so exciting it makes all the previous Sony, Fox & Netflix content relevant. Rumor has it bot Osborn & Cox have been on set for Spiderman 3.

By the way I’m calling it now. Dottie is the bad guy pulling the strings and who Norm was referring to in this last episode. NOT Wanda and not Agnes/Agatha Harkness.

I have really enjoyed the past few episodes.

Marvel does good work.

So it's been bothering me, but the episode 5 "commercial" was driving me nuts on what the reference was for it.

Lagos was the city that they were in for CA2 opening scenes. You know, when Wanda couldn't stop the bomb from killing innnocent people? I knew Lagos was a big city in Nigeria, but I didn't remember the connection. These writers/storyarcs are brilliant stuff.
