Everything looks fantastic but I'm dying to know what Wakanda Forever is going to be. Seems like a project they should push back.

I think that's one they can't really keep pushing back. They need to address who's going to be the next Black Panther at some point in the very near future. It won't make sense if some big bad attacks Earth and Wakanda just sits back and doesn't help because they haven't set up what's happening there.

A little behind. It was very satisfying to see that dude get bashed to death by the shield. Flag bashers or whatever the hell they’re called are a bunch of whiny bitches. Series is just ok.

I heard it’s just going to be a story within Wakanda without any Black Panther.

They may eventually give the mantle to Shuri, but it seems less inevitable than I previously thought.

I'm personally hoping they bring back Michael B Jordan to be the new Panther, as he was an interesting character who I don't think they should have killed off in the first place.

Give me some X-men for heaven's sake MCU.
I'm dying here: my first and true comic book love

Thank god Colussos and Juggernaut are featured in deadpool but man really would like them to get Gambit and Psylocke properly done
It took Sony how many movies to get to Logan for Wolverine to get his character right?

Writing the script for that movie must have been a nightmare. How can you have that many characters and still devote enough time to each for meaningful character development? It also seems like it will be a completely different "type" of Marvel movie if that makes sense. No idea how they will fit into the larger MCU narrative.

Can someone break this down for me?

I didnt understand it, but one of the characters asks who will lead the Avengers now that Rodgers & Stark are gone. Leads me to believe 1 event (Snap, Wanda, or something else) has made them come forward.

Surely it has to reach back and make Thanos the reason they come forward--right? Deviant/Eternals can be brought up and use their backstory to show Thanos and whatnot.

But, that doesn't explain why they didn't show up during the conflict.

Maybe you stretch it a bit, and it's the third group, the latent gene or whatever you're calling it? But I feel every time we guess at mutants in the MCU we miss.

I miss the days when you could watch a movie trailer and walk away actually knowing what the movie is about.

Contrast that with the MODOK trailer and it's night and day. You watch that and you know exactly what the show is going to be.

Hmmm. I prefer not knowing too much going into a film. This being a previously unconnected to the rest of the MCU/Film Universe/Avengers specific, is actually one of the things I'm most excited about. I get to walk in to the theater, with an overall amount and trust and goodwill towards Feige/Marvel, hardly knowing anything about the characters and the story. That's exciting to me. If it's a massive mis-step or disappointment, that could affect how willingly I'd blindly go into the theatre for a new Marvel property, but for now I'm excited about knowing as little as possible and seeing if this new cast of characters can win me over and excite me the way GOTG did. Obviously a much different tone and cinematic style but as a Casual Marvel fan, I knew hardly anything about GOTG and when I saw the trailer, thought it looked super stupid and was going to be a clear misstep. Saw a few days of great reviews, checked it out, and fell in love almost instantly.
