I feel like these next two years are a throw away. Probably still great content but no Endgame like saga. I absolutely love getting to see the real Mandarin.

Have to believe the next phase starts with a BP & Spiderman team up flick vs Kraven. Dimitri in FFH (with a sniper) was no accident. Then you bring in the new sagas and lead up to secret wars.

Also does anyone think all this multiverse talk is a way to bring Miles Morales and the old Spiderman villains (maybe even spidermans) into a Sinister Six movie?

Is Secret Wars the direction they're going or the direction you think they'll go?

Donald Glover played The Prowler in Homecoming and referenced his nephew so I don’t think they need a multiverse to introduce Miles Morales. But also nothing stopping them from going that route either.

I'm guessing the multiverse will probably be the means with which they introduce mutants. Miles Morales can pretty easily be introduced once they bring Norman Osborne in, as he could create the spider that bites Miles. I'd imagine we're a ways away from something like that happening, though, as Holland is still fully on board and you'd think Miles would be the guy who eventually replaces him so they can keep making Spider-Man movies once he moves on.

I want more animated movies like the Spiderverse one.

Given the success of Into the Spider-Verse, you are going to get them. Just gotta hope the whole thing doesn't come crumbling down like every Sony superhero franchise has thus far. Don't think they've released a quality sequel since the original Spider-Man trilogy.

Not sure why they cut this out. Maybe two scenes showing sadness over Stark's death was one too many?

I'd love for Disney not to own everything but Sony has proven that they cannot handle the franchise and mixing Tom Holland into a new Sony Spiderverse makes no sense.

Bad news for the MCU, which has a lot still going for it but seemed to be grooming Spiderman to be the guy.

I wonder if this was Sony's plan all along. They used MCU to propel their own Spiderman universe to another level and then move on from it.

Kind of dumb by Disney to groom Spiderman to be the guy when they didn't own the character rights.

I get not wanting Disney to own everything, but having multiple universes for what should be a singular property is super disappointing.
