Based off Marvel's track record, this is where I stand.

The interviews and pre-release press from the cast and crew gave the impression this would end in what will basically be a full-on Marvel movie over the last 2-3 episodes. I think up until then we will have about 6 of these sitcom/mystery episodes that will continue to have more and more of those weird reality breaking moments for her as we get closer to the mystery unraveling.

First episode, I thought it was pretty obvious that Wanda and Vision (or maybe just one of them) are in like a virtual reality thing. First episode made it seem like they were trying to get Vision to do something for them or give them some sort of information. I thought the calculation thing was the point.

Basically, like the Matrix, or that episode of Rick and Morty where those aliens try to get Rick to teach them how to make dark matter (or whatever it was).

Second episode made me doubt that just slightly, as Wanda being able to rewind wouldn't make sense.

It's definite multiverse. This is supposed to be basically a build up to Strange 2.

For those who weren't sure if it's multiverse or not, there's a scene this week that shows that it is.

The beekeeper guy's tether cord is animated in the style of Into the Spiderverse. At least that's what it seemed like to me.

For those who thought that the first episodes were tedious. This one gets better. We learn where this one is in the timeline. It's maybe a few weeks or so after Endgame.

I have not watched today's episode as yet, but our family theory was that this is taking place in the immediate aftermath to Endgame...captured? injured/damaged? Wanada/Vision allowing others to take advantage.

It is clearly quirky, and where my wife cannot find joy in it yet, my sons and I are quite intrigued.

Episode 4 will be more palatable for everyone.

"It's a trap! Abort! I'm still in his Shoney's! Repeat -- we never left his Shoney's!"

I disagree that the spoiler you mentioned means it’s a multiverse thing. I think the color of the object was just because of the weirdness of the whole area. I’m not ruling it out, I just don’t think that shows the reason.

I watched episode 4 this morning right when I woke up. First time I’ve watched any of this series that way. Usually it’s at night. Maybe because I had just woke and still hadn’t had my coffee, but found the scene at the end to be a little emotional in a good, sad way. I didn’t tear up, but I could feel the emotion of what the character of Wanda was going through. It was a little gut wrenching for me, but in a good way.
SPOILER BELOW
When Wanda looked up and saw Vision in his post mind stone ripped out “Zombie” appearance, it hit me hard that Vision was still dead and only being kept “alive” by Wanda.

Loved everything about this episode, and it shows that sticking with those earlier episodes will have a good payoff.

Damn Hurl, that’s a good find. The Easter eggs and attention to details that Marvel uses are nothing short of incredible. It’s why all these Marvel canon movies and shows are so re-watchable. Every time I watch something again, it seems like I notice something I’ve didn’t see previously, especially with Endgame.

Also, if you include Vision and Wanda, there are 5 characters in this episode from previous Marvel movies from 4 different franchises. The Avengers, Captain Marvel, Thor, and Ant-Man.

Wife and I are almost through the second season of daredevil. Any reason to watch the defenders or should I go straight to season 3?

Season 3 of Daredevil picks up where Defenders leaves off.

I would watch Defenders if I was you.
