I'm not convinced that all of these returning villains are actually going to be villains in the movie. Molina mentioned in an interview that his character picks up the story from the end of Spider-Man 2 as he's sinking into the water. But at that point, Peter had gotten through to him and he sacrificed himself.

Similarly, why would Sandman hate Spider-Man if we assume that he too was brought into the MCU at the moment of his death? They'd made peace with each other at the end of Spider-Man 3, and there's a shot in the trailer where it looks like a wall of sand protects Spider-Man from a bolt of lightning.

We can probably safely assume that Green Goblin and Electro are still cunts, though. The Lizard too.

I also saw speculation that the guy slamming the files down in front of Peter could be his attorney, Matt Murdock.

One thing no one has mentioned , even though I'm all about Murdoch joining the MCU, is that the trailer could be misleading and that person slamming files is Jennifer Walters (She-Hulk). We've seen Marvel put misleading edits in the trailers before & with her show coming up its possible this will be her intro.

I think you're spot on about the rest though. We all know Sinister Six is on the horizon but as of right now we have more bad guys across the 3 film series + the Venem Universe.

Good thing Marvel always throws curveballs along the way.

FYI the full plot leaks are likely out there. A guy posted extremely detailed stuff on reddit a few months back and it was spot on during the trailer.

Incase anyone wants go seek it out.

I don’t think the person throwing the files down is a woman because the frame is very much that of a man and the sleeves on his shirt are rolled up and you can see hairy arms.

While correct, Marvel has edited scenes like that for trailers. Prime example is the Hulk running in Wakanda vs the Hulk Buster.

Just got back from Shang Chi, and wow. If you’re a fan of both Marvel and Kung Fu, this movie is a wet dream. The only negative I can say about it is that after watching a Marvel movie like this it makes you reflect back on previous Marvel movies that you thought were good and realize that they actually could have been so much better. I’m looking at you Black Widow.

This movie was non stop fun with a ton of Marvel call backs to go along with all kinds of new elements. I just can’t say enough good things about it.

I thought Black Widow was the worst movie Marvel has made yet. Terrible accents, jokes that don't land, Natasha randomly becoming superhuman and shrugging off falls that would cripple a human, and action sequences that seemed way too big for a movie that should have been smaller and self-contained. It had a lot of the same problems that Far From Home had, but that movie landed the jokes and Gyllenhaal was clearly having the time of his life, so it was easier to overlook the issues.

Also, they really fucked up Taskmaster. Not by making the character a woman. That would have been fine if done right. Like, say, if it turned out Natasha's sister was Taskmaster, or if Taskmaster was an interesting villain with an actual personality instead of a mindless drone controlled by a guy who looks like a British mob boss trying (and failing) to put on a bad Soviet accent.

Just an all-around bad film that a lot of good actors couldn't save.

I've just learned that the character supposedly lives in my neighborhood, and the first apartment my wife and I moved into appears in the background of several scenes. Can't wait to see this now!

Something I learned today:

This intro card:

Is different than this intro card:

It's not easy to totally hear, but only half the orchestra is playing in the End Game clip.
