Realistically, it shouldn't. That multiverse died at the end of the episode.

There are rumors that some What If characters will end up appearing in the main MCU.

It would be a great way to bring back Killmonger, for example.

The most likely What If character to show up in the MCU is Captain Carter. The Strange we saw in Episode 4 is most assuredly dead, as is his entire universe.

Watched all of Loki yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it as a casual Marvel fan. If they play on the plot threads for the next phase of MCU they may have gotten me invested again.

Pretty sure Jonathan Majors (the guy at the end of time) is going to be the next big bad in the MCU going forward. Obviously not the version of him in Loki, but I imagine they'll be dealing with his more evil variants for a good while now.

He's already confirmed as being in the next Ant-Man movie, but it will probably ultimately take the Avengers to beat him.

I thought the 4th episode of What If? centering around Dr Strange was pretty great. Excited to see how that may potentially tie into Multiverse of Madness
I just caught up with the series and I have to agree that this episode really stood out.

Very well done. Very sad.

But, it sheds light on what Baron Mordo may have been doing at the end of the film.

Really liked the zombie episode of "What If..."
It was fun!

If Thanos had already collected 5/6 stones, how would the virus even bother him?

Simplest explanation would be that the quantum realm is unaffected by the Infinity Stones. Because the virus is from a universe outside of the home universe of those stones, the virus itself would be unaffected by them.

And the What If? plot thickens. Episode six was a fun episodes, which was a nice change of pace from all the doom and gloom from the last few episodes. Well, at least it was until that last scene. Shits about to get real.

The ending was awesome
