I think we can just about guarantee he is not dead.

That scene was basically taken directly from Echo's origin story. The gun shot only temporarily blinds Kingpin. My assumption is he will be in Echo's solo series looking for revenge.
Agree on all accounts

This looks pretty good.

I'm glad to see they've kept the essence of her character even if they've changed the origin and functionality of her powers from the comics--which they kind of have to do. I'm guessing the similarity to Mr. Fantastic's powers is just as much a reason for the change as the whole Inhumans/Terragen Mist origin.

Got No Way Home and watched it again for the first time since opening week.

Defoe is simply amazing. Its the little touches in his performance.

My favorite touch is when he whistles when pulls out his arm blade. So perfect.

And I love the added sass to the characterization of Goblin.

Molina is great too.

But Jamie Foxx was 100% right when he said that while he and Molina add dimension to two great characters, that Defoe's Goblin takes it to a whole other level altogether.

Watched the first ep of Moon Knight. I thought it was pretty interesting and will keep watching. I have no idea about this character at all. Oscar Isaac is a terrific actor.

Kind of falling behind on my MCU watching.

Watched everything up through Endgame movie wise, along with Far From Home. Also have watched Widow which took place between Civil War and Infinity War IIRC.

Have watched WandaVision, What If?, and just finished Loki. Started Falcon and the Winter Soldier but the first episode wasn't that great.

Still need to see Shang-Chi, Eternals, and No Way Home. Haven't watched Hawkeye or Moon Knight at all yet. It's a little overwhelming, but in a good way. Want to catch up on everything as much as I can before Multiverse of Madness.

If you’re looking to get some background on Moon Knight before diving into the series, My Mom’s Basement (podcast) had a really good episode on it a few weeks back.

That, plus the collection I just read had me really excited for this series. The first episode didn’t disappoint.

Really excited to see the direction they take with Thor. I found the moment where the Guardians jump into the fight and he just stands there, unenthused and walks away, particularly captivating. Stands in stark contrast to the war-mongering Thor we got at the beginning of the MCU. I could see him becoming more of a wise mentor figure who chooses not to get involved in the fights until the need is absolute. Then you can cue the *iS ThAT ThOR's MUsic?!?!* epic reappearance moment in some future avengers title.

I watched the latest Moonknight and chased it with the 1978 Superman with Christopher Reeves and Gene Hackman. First time I've watched it in about 35 years.

Moonknight is well acted and - so far - not very engaging as a written entity. Go make that Disney money, Ethan Hawke.

On the other hand, if you haven't seen Superman in a while, re-watch. I worried that it didn't age well and I was completely wrong. It's the James Brown of superhero movies.

There’s some context but I think it’s better without it
