Career high 14 assists and a dagger 3. Unbelievable play tonight, and he frequently guarded Jokic successfully. That was wild.

Classic Delly game where he just affected everyone.

Oh and to add Delly said he has had to fight to prove he belonged every step of the way and he still is. TT said "You can play in the league as long as you want" or something to that effect and everyone in the locker room whooped. It was cool.

the Cleveland cavs are the ones who believed in delly the most and the ones who doubted him the most

in the alternate universe where the cavs signed him up in 2015, they win in 2017, kyrie still requests the trade because he is jealous of delly, the cavs win in 2018 and 2019, Durant doesn't even attempt to comeback because he knows its a lost cause, LeBron leaves to try to make a point that it was him winning all those titles and not delly then Durant comes to Cleveland still chasing a ring

Wouldn't mind keeping him around next year; he impacts the game more than Exum. I'm assuming we don't draft another guard.

As for now he's screwing up our draft position.

I do think Delly not being resigned after 2016 (or in 2015 when he would have been cheaper) was the move that had the biggest impact on the Cavs window to win another championship that the Cavs had the most control over. He would have fix alot of issues in both the 2017 and 2018 seasons.

When the NBA changes the way the lottery operates, fans need to change the way they perceive the lottery. The Cavs have the second worst record in the NBA. The teams who came out on top in last year's lottery were the seventh worst record who won the lottery, followed by the eighth worst record getting the second pick, and the 11th worst record finishing third. The commissioner simply doesn't want multiple years of tanking anymore and won't reward it. The reason is because players do not develop when the team tries to lose.

So what does Delly do to a franchise when he is on the floor? He passes with great timing and gets multiple players engaged on the offensive end. He allows Sexton to get easier shots. Once Porter is back up to speed, he will allow KPJ to do the same.

That's why Delly helps the team for the long haul, even if they luck into a few wins along the way.

Glad to see Delly break out last night ,,he was unbelievable if that Delly had shown up at the beginning of the year they could have brought Garland off the bench.
Let's not forget he's still shooting 35% from the field and 20% from 3..he's pretty much been crap at least shooting the ball.
I don't think it would hurt to bring him back on a vet minimum deal though or something close to that,,,.great clubhouse guy.

Playing like this and at the vet minimum, I can see quite a few teams will be interested in Delly next season...maybe even the Lakers and Bron

2 games in a row with a dagger 3. His passing has just been great - timing and finding players to score feels easy. Love his defense and grit too.
