Matthew Dellavedova

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Maybe I missed something with his contract, idk, isn't it approx $11M per yr for four years? If that's right, is he worth that? Must be if you say so. It's not my money paying him.

As a rule of thumb, I'd say whenever you get a solid rotation player at 10% of the cap or less it's a good deal.

Others around here would probably have a better sense than me, but I'm pretty confident that we would have no problem trading Nance for an expiring contract if we wanted to get him off the books for some reason.

I am guessing a 3 year deal for Delly with the last year being basically the vet min on a team option

Hey guys, Delly isn't a coach. It was a joke because I don't remember any decent coaching since Delly got here.
All kidding aside, if Delly does any coaching in the future hopefully he'll never face anything like Lebron's mob.

I think a 10% of the cap is kind of the thinking when you could win with one star and a couple above average players. NBA has shift to where you need 3 stars. Vet players like Delly will be the ones who don't benefit from an increasing cap. Even with a sweetheart deal from the organization, I think Delly is looking at a pay cut. My guess he will make around 6 million a year.

Guys seem to get paid on potential or high level production now. Delly is a solid backup PG but could easily be beaten out by a younger guy.

I think Nance is on a good deal for the organization especially if he keeps working on his 3 point shot. It's a tradable contract, even if he got paid it more on potential than actual production.

Sorry, was replying to a comment about Nance's contract. Agree that Delly probably doesn't get much more than the minimum going forward, especially considering he'll turn 30 before the start of his next contract.

Yep, unless something amazing (good or bad) happens next season (the last of his current contract)...I can see 3 years at $10-12 total, with the third year a team option

Out tonight (concussion protocol) vs. Heat...

Oh wow didn't see him get hurt last game.

3M is not to much for Delly. I would be fine with that. The bucks knew they were overpaying, I guess they didn't realize how good Brogdan would be.

The tank saw him though

Looking at the box score lately. Has Delly died or something.......

They said he had a bad concussion and I think they have been overly cautious the past month or so with any injury to help the tank.

Delly being out helps pump up Knight's value.

This may seem random, but Tony Bennett in college was so Delly. Offensively, he was this guy who didn't look like he belonged out there, but he made that Wisconsin-Green Bay offense hum like a V8. Of course, he never defended like Delly, but he did earn a spot backing up Muggsy Motherfucking Bogues for a while. Great to see the Delly early test version win it all.
