i am almost done with his first autobiography,b4 the scuffle with mcnabb.towards the end of this book is when he leave baltimore and signs with philly.he doesnt know he played in a super bowl yet in this one.he just came out with "T.O.",i am reading "Catch This".its interesting,he is a very emotional guy.
we all know some of the things he does is dumb off the field but on the field u are going to get 100% from him.Randy Moss,u never know that.I am mad cause i bought the TO philly jersey 2 years ago expecting him to stay long.I still think mcnabb is the best QB out there and he has more class.But what u get from TO on the field u never need to second guess cause he brings it.
The way the whole thing started with Garcia was because the way the media portrayed something he said.He said how good Rattay was throwing that day when they took garcia out.they changed it up and Garcia took it the wrong way.He said they didnt talk to eacother for quite sometime until before a game Garcia held out his hand and i guess they both started crying and Garcia asked to put it all behind them.
The thing with the 49ers,they got mad at him with the star incident in Dallas because he was trying to fire up his team.He said he celebrates so his mom can see him on TV more.In his last year of his contract the 49ers owner told his agent he would get back to him to get the deal done for a new contract before season ends.he never called him,and this made them mad.
The end of the year it got too crazy and they gave 72 hours to find a trade,as TO's agent almost had a deal in place they went behind TO's back and traded him to baltimore without even giving them 24 hours to find one.He was not only pissed at the 49ers organization but Ozzie Newsome from Baltimore.
Ozzie came up to him in a golf tournament in the offseason before his last year in contract.He said "TO can i trust you?"TO said "yea what is that you need?".Ozzie told him that he would love it in baltimore and how everybody loves it there.He said he is really interested in him and would love for him to come to Baltimore.
Then the deal happened next summer but TO and his agent were furious because what the 49ers did and Newsome went behind TO's back to do this.He told TO that if he was in the works with anything he wouldnt do it behind his back and he would let TO know.They were pissed.
Newsome called him and kept saying you will love it here dont worry,but he hung up on him.He felt that he lost his trust and thats why he refused to play there.He also mentioned that he never told Ozzie he for sure wanted to become a Raven that year before and he mentioned he really wanted to go to Philly to play for McNabb over Boller.
The book is interesting and its from TO so take it for whats it is worth but it seems very interesting.His new book is his 2nd season with philly.
