Merry Christmas to all of you. Thanks very much for having this forum Ben and thanks to all the moderators and posters. I hope to see great development from our young guys this year.

Merry Christmas everyone! Here's the full Christmas Day game from 2016.

I remember this game completely. We had had some injuries in the beginning of the season and GS was flexing it’s early season newly acquired Durant muscle.

I was a Christmas orphan for the day, not flying home to Ohio until New Years. Had just had a rough break up so at the last minute I booked an airbnb in San Diego and took the train from Fullerton to San Diego on Christmas Eve.

Treated myself to a great Italian meal that night, drank too much wine, got completely shut down trying to get a number from the girl behind the bar at the restaurant, and had a series of unfortunate events back at the air bnb that culminated with me blowing the fuse/electricity on the entire place(multiple rooms/Apts in one large hillside Victorian house) as a result of sneaking in and using two space heaters and taking a 45 minute soak in the hot tub. On top of that, the non electric toilet in my room flooded as a result of some EAYOR level stuff and some poor maid had to come by at 11:30pm on Christmas Eve to solve both the fuse issue and the flooded bathroom.

Somehow, instead of getting kicked out, I got moved to a new room and slept a guilty wine and shame soaked sleep. Xmas day I venture out, get an incredible (go ahead and laugh) Honey Lavendar Oatmilk Latte from some local coffee shop. Call a Lyft to take me to the San Diego zoo and as I’m running across the street to get in the car, I spill the entire drink (I’d had 3 sips) half on the street, half in the Lyft. It felt like when you have an epic catfish on your hook that somehow squirms away right as you pull it through the surface of the water, just enough of a glimpse of what could have been and then having to watch it get away.

If I could have done it without feeling like the biggest douche on the planet, I would have had the driver take me back to get AJ other one. But I didn’t and after 20 minutes, found myself dropped off in the San Diego Zoo parking lot about an hour prior to tip off. Bought my overpriced ticket and tried to figure out how to make my battery last long enough to follow the entire game and still have battery life to get a Lyft to the train station afterwards.

Amongst the sea of tourists, families, and baboons in cages doings all sorts of elicit acts on themselves and their neighbors, I managed to follow the entire game, telling myself the whole way that KD was a beta punk and that the Cavs would win the next 3 titles and go down as the greatest team of all time. When LeBron and Kyrie took over in the late 4th quarter, it seemed almost like that could be a reality.

But alas.....

Eventually, caught a Lyft from the zoo with 9% battery. Matched with a Suicide Girls looking chick while at the train station at 5% battery. Got a refund on my train ticket, took another Lyft to the bar said girl was at with 3%

If you’re thinking this is where I get lucky, think again. While the girl looks as hot as her pictures, she’s downright batshit crazy and deep Christmas Day drunk and in the course of two hours hanging out with her, she nearly gets us killed 2-3 times before I make it back to the train station and back to home in Long Beach. On the plus(?) side she had me take some pictures of her for her blog of sweater erotica which is exactly what it sounds like.

In summation, I’ll always remember spending a day alone at the San Diego zoo listening to this classic Cavs win vs the Evil Empire. Fuck GS and fuck KD.

Merry Christmas !

Merry Christmas everybody! The browns competing for the division and a surprisingly interesting young cavs squad are a couple of nice gifts for Cleveland fans!

Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holiday. Regardless of your faith, I wish you best. Stay safe and tell someone they are loved!
