"The bill, which is expected to be signed into law by President Vicente Fox in the coming weeks, allows for the possession of up to 5 grams (0.18 ounces) of marijuana, 5 grams (0.18 ounces) of opium, 25 milligrams (0.0009 ounces) of heroin and 500 milligrams (0.018 ounces) of cocaine.

It also decriminalizes the possession of limited quantities of other drugs including LSD, hallucinogenic mushrooms, amphetamines and peyote -- a psychotropic cactus found in the Mexican deserts."

Wow....

Maybe all of the Mexican in La will go back now, and they wont migrate to the States.

We haven't heard from HPD in the last 24 hours.... Perhaps he found a new place to reside..

no they dont, keep that mess out of America.

Exactly the reason why they should do that here. Free cops from having to search and arrest for a joint or 2, go after the big fish.

A joint or two doesnt make it right. There is no need to be having it in the first place and they should goto jail and get fined for having "a joint or two".

Hey Hey Hey Smoke Weed everyday.. :chuckles:

I cant believe anyone would allow drugs. Why do you think its illegal in the first place.

This situation will get out of control, Mexico is on the border-can you image all of the trafficing going through there. After terrorism, if that ever ends, the next form of tyrone will be drugs.

You really think a guy with a few joints on him is a threat to anybody? Trucks pass across the border filled to the max with weed everyday, planes fly in filled with heroine and coke all the time. Stop those people dont waste time going after Joe Blow growing a plant in his bedroom is what im saying.

I agree with Mandingo.

I don't do any drugs, but I think that they should legalize it here. People are going to do it anyways, so instead of wasting time on a guy with an half an ounce, go after the big fish. Or worry about taking the scum with guns off the streets before u worry about a guy with a joint.

They do go after the big fish and yes, a guy with a joint or two on him is a threat. It is illegal, it is against the law.

I think drugs should be prosecuted to the fullest offense. Next to sex crimes, I cant stand drug offenses and how easily they are let go.

Drugs are the reasons why neighborhoods are torn to shambles. Downtown Cleveland and parts of Akron are shitholes because of drugs..

There is no place for it in this society. They need to make longer terms for people with drugs.

wow. I can tell whos a republican or a cop.

Amac you drink?
