You know, that game Ohio State probably made the most mistakes of any game all season. Two offensive fumbles, a dropped punt, a blocked kick, a personal foul that meant instead of having the ball at the 3 yard line with 8 seconds left in the half they were then out of field goal range and came away with nothing, etc. That was probably the worst pass protection the Buckeyes had all year.

And they won 44-0. I know the Gophers are having a down year, but my goodness this team is amazing.

Not much stats for Smith in this one. All he needed to do was hand the ball off, as Ohio State rushed for 266. His two touchdowns were things of beauty, however, and will be added to his Heisman highlight reel. Another gorgeous pass to Robo, and then a 21 yard TD run where he broke the ankles of the Gopher linebacker.

How about Chris Wells? That kid is a beast. How about that 3rd and 1 play where he was hit in the backfield for what would of been a one yard loss, but carried the defender literaly 10 yards, adding two more Gophers to his back before he was finally brought down. If he can stop the fumbles, he will be a monster. I know that Mac says he has no vision, but I just don't see it. (No pun intended.) On several of his runs today he made great reads weaving up the middle or breaking it out side for a big gain. He may not have the elite vision that Pittman has, but his vision is at least above average. Add that to his physical attributes and you have another star in the making.

I dont like the fumbles. Thats three now, and he doesnt play much.
