Minor League Game Thread discussion thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
@MadThinker88

I am curious when ya think Noel could get a call up to LC? He's batting .398 in the 28 games he's played in... (I believe 22-6 in those games)

What do you think of the Brennan and Morris promotions?

On the 1st item: I don't believe he will get called up this season & it is a result of the multiple injuries & time missed. If the CLE FO/ player development groups does promote him, that is fine too. There are reasons for going either way. I will be curious to see who is losing playing time in Lake County for JNoel to play & how the time is back-filled in Lynchburg.

As for the others, I have no real opinion. Nice to see for both guys & I hope both are able to take advantage of the opportunity put in front of them..

I lost track of where I was at. Where in the hell am I anyway?

You guys were having a conversation in the game day thread so I was trying to move the discussion about our past switch hitting MIFs over here since this is a discussion thread haha...

I just answered the one question prosed and tried to be as short and direct as possible, it went from there and I tried to stay out of it as it seemed to evolve into a different discussion.

But if I was to elaborate on Rocchio from my small sample size in viewing these guys through the MILB.tv package or maybe once a year I catch Akron and Lynchburg (should be catching more) in person I just view Rocchio as my favorite SS. There just seems to be a it factor for me as far as the fluidity of him in the field, maybe it's being young watching Omar and then recently having Lindor. Then you start to look at how balanced his numbers with his splits and being a switch hitter and the way he's steadily driving the ball more and more.

It's almost hard to explain with the glut of talent as to why I prefer who I do (which is nice to have) but he's my favorite for future SS with Arias really close behind, Martinez is in that talk but he is so far behind just in development standards why even bring him into the discussion at this point.

I was never a big fan of Gimenez when that trade went down just looking at the numbers and in the little I've seen this year he really doesn't do it for me. I honestly even with his youth wanted this to be a trial year and quickly move on or move him into a utility role but maybe that's just because I'm a honk for Rocchio and my doubts on Arias have alleviate some to where he is incredibly intriguing.

I'm no pro and just a fan who likes following minor stat lines and watch MILB.tv when I can. But in the little I have been able to see Rocchio it just pops that he belongs up the middle of a diamond.

Due to depth Rocchio might not push his name on Cleveland next year but I really believe he could/should if it wasn't for organizational pecking order. Got a lot of special players, going to be interested to see how it all shakes out and where some of these guys go on a field in Cleveland or another club.

I try not to post too often and this is about as long winded as I get but I appreciate this board and it's easily a daily read for me.

Lastly big shout out to @BimboColesHair Thank you.
