Minor League Week 18 Games Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Any concern with Espino? Is it just getting on in the season and he's getting a little worn down? Is he focusing on developing pitches at High A where he'd otherwise be able to get by on just his GAS if he wanted? @BimboColesHair

No prospect gives me more reason for excitement than Espino. So hoping I'm just being overly critical, but his results of late in Lake County haven't been inspiring.

Going into last night, Espinos K/9 was 16.69 in A+ ball.

16.69 as a starter.

Ks come a lot harder as the batters he faces get better, but its a pretty good foundation to work off of.

Pilkington now 3-0, 1.17 ERA at Akron. Batters are hitting .179 off him.

Battenfield is the slacker; 2-0, 1.69. But batters are only hitting .147 off him.

The Ducks also feature Tanner Tully (2.68 ERA in 74 innings), Adam Scott (2.72 in 10 starts) and Logan Allen (2.78 in 8 starts).

Not bad. We got Pilkington and Battenfield for Cesar Hernandez and Jordan Luplow. By the way, Luplow is hitting .167 for Tampa.
