Jr Allen has a choppy 34 pitch first inning...single, BB, HBP...but escapes unscathed.

Akron 2-0 after one.

Valera with a 2 run double makes it 4-0 Ducks.

Jhonkensey Noel with another multi-homer night. Both 2 run jobs.. Still plenty of time to add more.

He's another scorcher.. Didn't think he was rule 5 worthy enough, but..............

Edit. He is up now with 2 men on and a pitcher change in progress.

Double edit.. Only hit a double that time around 3-3 1Double 2HR and 5 RBIs (so far)

Jr Allen's final line....

4.2 IP...0 runs...3 H...2 BB...1 HBP...7 K...
91 pitches.

34 pitches in the first.

To put Noel's power production into some kind of perspective...

At the same two levels...A and A+... but a year older...Nolan Jones had 40 XBHs in 427 at bats....one in every 10.6 at bats.

In his MLB career, JRam has an XBH in every 8 at bats.

Kwan is averaging 1 XBH in every 8 at bats as well as is Oscar. Oscar is the only one of the bunch with full season of ABs.

Both are 4 yrs older than Noel, and at the same age/level werent in Noel's league.

Tuesday night game updates/ finals:

AAA Columbus loses 7-2 (Kipnis hits his 8th homer of the season for Gwinnett)
High A Lake County wins 6-1
Low A Lynchburg loses 10-2

AA Akron leads 5-1 entering the bottom of the 9th.. RDucks had a magic number of 8 entering today..
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Edit:
AA Akron wins 5-1.

On the night CLE affiliates are 2-2 with a run diff of -4

Just sharing info. But you know everything. My apologies.

JRam wasn't in Noel's "league" either but whatever.

I was just sharing info and comparisons, too.

Sorry that for some reason that offends you.

You feel that both Kwan and Gonzalez should be protected in the Rule Five and be legitimate candidates to make the active roster in 2022. Thats okay.

I think that Noel is a better prospect and should be protected over the other two. Thats okay, too.

But you are very very wrong about Jose at the same age and levels.

At age 19, Jose played A ball, after a quick look in A-.

He hit .356 with an OPS of .865...with a K rate of 8.3%.

The next year he was called up to Cleveland for the first time.

The other three were not in Joses stratosphere.

We were talking about XBHs and ABs, but go ahead and reset the goal posts.
