Ok, its time for another week of games to begin. The CLE affiliates need to shake off the horrid week that ended and get back to the winning ways of the 1st 3 weeks of the season. Here are the match-ups for this week (Note: I will be attending the Akron game on Friday evening)

AAA: Columbus (8-15) at Indianapolis (11-12, Pittsburgh affiliate)
AA: Akron (16-7) hosts Erie (16-8, Detroit affiliate)
High A: Lake County (11-13) hosts Dayton (14-10, Cincinnati affiliate)
Low A: Lynchburg (14-9) hosts Salem (12-12, Boston affiliate)

Just FYI, starting next week & being done on the 1st & 3rd Mondays each month I will post a chart a table with minor league player names and the various positions they have played in the CLE system this year..

I plan to post @30 names. Mostly the main prospect names will be part of the table. I will take requests for names to be added (within reason)..

Yes. thank you for all of your efforts! I saw Columbus play in Toledo and hope to check out Akron and Lake County as well in the next few weeks.

A couple of notes.

Quentin Holmes - 1st start of the year after starting the season injured - Lake County Captains <-- EDIT. My bad - Holmes did not start injured. He had 2AB on 5/6.
Xzavion Curry - the watch continues - Lynchburg Hillcats

Tuesday Game updates:

All the games are underway..

AAA: No Score but threatening in top of 1st for Clippers

AA: RDucks trail 2-0 going into top of 2nd

High A: No Score in top of 1st. Dayton Dragons have a rally in process.

Low A: No Score middle of 2nd, Hillcats coming to the plate.

Xzavion Curry so far: 4IP 2H 0ER/0R 0BB 4K... 56 pitches 43 strikes.. At least 12 pitches ( i think 13) were spent on one of the hits.

Edit. Alexfri Planez awakens from his offensive struggles with a GRAND SLAM. Lynchburg now up 5-0 in the 4th.

X.Curry through 5. Comes 1 pitch from striking out the side in the 5th..

5IP 2H 0ER/0R 0BB 6K - 74pitches, 57 strikes.

IMO - he is a man amongst boys right now and should move on to High A. Not sure how it would all shake out, but he sure is looking good. He has to be a top 20-30 prospect by now. Not bad for someone who was pretty much a mystery until about a month ago.

AAA: Clippers lead 1-0, bottom of the 5th. Run from a Mercado solo shot.

AA: RDucks trail 5-2, entering top of the 6th.

High A: Captains trail 4-2, entering top of the 4th

Low-A: Hillcats lead 5-0 in the bottom of the 5th.. Alexfri Planez with a grand slam for the Hillcats..

I'm hoping it's Brauny Munoz but that is probably not going to happen. As Bimbo noted their BP has several starter types already, maybe someone like Zach Hart takes over and a bully arm comes up.

Low-A: Hillcats lead 7-4, top of the 8th.

AAA: Clippers lose 5-3. A missed strike 3 call by HP ump lead to a meltdown by Dowdy & Broom in the bottom of the 8th. 3 runs against. Ryan Lavarnway hits a 2 out solo shot in top of the 9th to finish the scoring.

High A: Captains lead 8 - 7, top of the 8th

Low-A: Hillcats win 7-5.

LC update. Each team scores a run in the 8th. Its now 9 - 8 entering the 9th... Nick Gallagher in, seeking the save & snapping the LC 6 gm losing streak.

Edit #2:
LC update. Gallagher melts down & allows 2 runs to score. Dayton now leads 10-9 in bottom of the 9th..

Edit #3:
LC Update. Lake County loses 10-9 to Dayton...

CLE affiliates go 1-3 on the day...
