Great outing for Lenny Torres. That's promising.

Can you people imagine if, along with BieGOAT, Civale, Plesac, we add a couple of long-term starters from TMac, Quantrill, Logan Allen Senior, Mejia, and Sam Hentges AND THEN have a platoon of potential aces coming through in 2023 among

EspinGOAT
Haskins
Torres
Wolf
Vargas

Along with rotation depth like
Logan Allen Junior
Burns
Hickman
Gaddis
Curry

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WE

That has been the organizational plan for years.

Draft, sign, or otherwise acquire young starting pitchers, and developing them into a never ending line of fine MLB SPs.

Except for Covid and the wiping out of 80% of our rotation at just about the same time, it has worked quite well, and is the trademark of this org.

I'm well aware. But the youth movement is pretty exciting nonetheless. What differentiates this wave from the last few waves is that there are guys who project as aces (Espino, Hankins, Wolf, Vargas) if they develop whereas no one ever saw that from BieGOAT or KluGOAT until it happened.

Unfortunately, we could see DickyLeftGOAT coming from miles away.

Better pull in the reins a bit.

Only Espino projects anywhere near FOR level right now.

Doesn't mean that any of them won't , but Espino is the only one that projects.

I don't think that's the case at all. It might be unlikely that they all become FOR. It might even be unlikely that they all become MLB pitchers. But if a guy like Hankins or Vargas hits, he's going to be FOR.

In any case, even with just Espino as projecting FOR, that's 1 more than we've been able to claim project as FOR in the last bout 15 years.

Not true.

Cookie and Bauer projected as FORs.

So did Knapp and Adam Miller.

Guys... Player discussions in the Minor league not the game thread please lol I want to make sure Madthinker keeps these going!

At least McKenzie had a decent outing, though the homers are still there, threw more strikes last night.
