MLB 2024 Postseason Thread?

Francisco Lindor just cleared them all with a grand slam and didn’t even celebrate…..ice water in his veins. I only wish a few of our players had that clutch gene

Are we really going to see a Detroit-Mets World Series?
Padres aren’t going to be an easy out , but this Mets team refuses to give up and the top of their order has been insanely clutch

Yeah, chill as a cucumber.

How much better would we be if we could have kept him? We so desperately need batters. Instead the biggest media market gets him and we can't score. Plus the wife is pissed (passionate / lunatic Philly fan).

Lindor is the new Jeter. That guy will find a way to beat you.

Funny thing us I became a Mets fan in 1966 as a kid living in NJ and my favorite player was Tom Seaver. Switched all my loyalties to Cleveland as a HS kid in Stark Co. Now I despise all NY teams.

I‘ve been in NYC since 1991 but all of my allegiance and loyalty has remained with all of the Cleveland teams; and like yourself despise all NY teams across the board (except for NHL since I haven’t followed hockey since the Crusaders)

Oh and as much as I’m rooting for KC to beat the Yankees, it’s sure going to sickening and heartbreaking if we’re not the team facing them for the AL Championship, if they prevail

Phillies get two walks to open the ninth. Roger's kid whiffs. As long as Marsh doesn't hit into DP Schwarber gets a chance to tie.

Baseball has alot of problem areas between no cap, to a long season only to be thwarted by playoff games. Once the boomers and gen xers go extinct so will MLB. If you are gonna have a looong marathon season u cant allow all of these Wild Cards. It nullifies the reg. season. Nfl will die off soon with 4 injuries a game. Athletes are getting faster and stronger. NBA is going to be Americas sport in 20 to 30 years especially with hip hop culture taking over and our attention span as Americans.

Bob Costas. The next Casey Casem. Guy never ages. He is also the driest play by play caller ever. IDK why but Ive always felt this way. Perhaps hes too articulate and white collar. Idk

Royals on the board….finally getting to Cole; 3-1 Yankees, man on 2nd

Yankees blew opportunity to add on. Holmes in for the Stankees. B8.

A 10-pitch 8th for Holmes. 3 outs for the Stankees to get, to move on.
