MLB Lock-Out is Finally Freakin’ Over

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I love how many of you guys realize I have nothing to add to the Guardians section but humor but are ok with that. My baseball knowledge is far behind you guys, but i can make up for it in the Cavs and Browns section.....yet even there 75% of my posts are jokes, lol
Be a star in your role, @Lee

So does this push the needle on Kwan (who is outside top 100) but if he hits can be a top 3 rookie (if Naquin could do it with .296 15HR year)? If we need an OF (he is succeeds we get a pick ... if he fails, we tried and losing a year of service may not be a big deal for an average player)?

The question is what about Valera next year (do we play the game with him if most comp picks don't pan out anyways -- is it worth the gamble)?

We don't know where Valera will be honestly... He hasn't played enough minor league games to say he will be or won't be a candidate for the big league team...

I think we just need to go north with the best 26 regardless of status in my mind. I think service time is secondary in my mind. It be nice to get an extra pick though...

Best almost not to post that here in a sense... but I think its best if they leave it alone, since if they do that, then all of the other major sports lose it as well. I don't get why a pro-union would try and mess with an organization that actually has one of the strongest unions anywhere... It would be completely different if it didn't have its union to protect the players. You cannot deny the union is strong and does its job protecting the MLB players...

If anything Sanders needs to get a MiLB union together to protect and help the minor leaguers not go after MLB

Too many owners on the donor list to ever gain enough traction with this.

Also the key element to prevent a “new league” from being able to compete financially.

Anybody actually in the MLB makes good money, so there isn't any good reason for Sanders to even try... I get players don't get the revenue like some other sports but over 500k a year is a legit paycheck compared to a lot of people...

I feel like if anything they need to work on MiLB issues and get the issues down there fixed, but that's something that can be discussed in a different thread. If Sanders can help the sport anywhere, it would be down there...

The players hung on to a 12 game playoff format..

It's probably only a matter of time before we see a more teams. Best to keep that chip in the vest pocket for now.
