Absolutely horrendous... So many of these young guys are a mitigating disaster at this point and Mo Bamba is leading the charge...

Definitely a worse pick than Sexton.

Yeah but that is because of health. Barnes would have been shoved out faster than Dion when Lebron came back.

Bagley and Bamba were both suspect prospects. Most on here, it was Ayton, Doncic, Trea and Jackson Jr. Well......I thought the Magic going with Bamba over Sexton was dumb.

Oh ya. Shit I wanted Bagley too.

Bamba was definitely high on my list in his draft year.

Swing and a miss.

Would be interesting to go back and look at those lists. We were all pretty invested in that Brooklyn pick, so the traffic in the draft thread was substantial.

1. Doncic
2. Jackson Jr.
3. Bamba - whiff
4. Ayton
5. Carter Jr. - too high for sure
6. Porter Jr.
7. Bagley - same as Carter, but I was lower than most
8. Bridges, Mikal
9. Robert Williams
10. Mitchell Robinson
11. Kevin Knox - boy does he suck
12. Miles Bridges
13. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
14. Collin Sexton

My final big board for the Cavs
Roast away.

Keep in mind, I didn't want a guard at all due to us not knowing LeBron's intentions yet. The fact that SGA and Sexton were on my board at all was high praise at the time :chuckle: as you can see, I left Trae Young off altogether.

While I do think this guy is bad..... he's never really gotten much of a chance in Orlando... The pick never made sense for them with a prime Vucevic there but Orlando isn't the best ran franchise.

Now, let me prelude my next comment by saying I don't actually think he'll be in the league a whole lot longer..... but I am looking forward to seeing if he'll get some opportunity on his next team to see if maybe, just maybe something is there.

He needs to go to a really bad team that will gamble on him. I look at a guy like Moses Brown (7'2") on OKC who's finally getting some opportunity and is really doing well with it.

What a blessing that Bagley, Bamba, and Carter Jr were all off the board when the Cavs made their pick.

They say he never really recovered from Covid, but that could be a convenient excuse. I wanted to take a flyer on Mitchell Robinson, but we had no 2nd rounder. I was intrigued for sure on Bamba, but I think not taking a center in the top 10 is a good idea. I did have Wiseman #2 after lamelo

Not sure why you say roast away. No one is perfect on these, something we seem to forget arguing with eachother pre draft at times, lol.

I liked Bamba allot. Everyone had me convinced that Doncic was the next big thing in the NBA. I hated Trey Young, Liked Ayton a ton, thought he or Doncic were the top of the class.

Its really hard to pick these guys, a GM is expected to get it right about 50% of the time and they scout these kids 80 hours a week.
