When metal is heated the atoms rearrange, process is called annealing, and the metal becomes softer. Each truss and frame are designed to handle the weight of the entire building. Since you dont know what a truss and a frame are Ill inform you briefly.
The only forces acting on a truss are located on the ends of the beam, where a frame has forces acting on the ends and anywhere in the middle.
So when one of the truss/frame fails the other beams connected to it will; all the way to the bottom. Espically when the metal is hot and there is a shear stress and with the weight falling from the top several floors.

But for a building to collapse in on top of itself would mean that there was uniform pressure. A gapping hole on one side of a building would mean that that side was the weakest. It’s like cutting down a tree, if you compromise one side that’s the way it’s going to fall first even if you switch over and start cutting the other side. Bottom line is the tower shouldn't have fallen into a perfect pile.

The twin towers shouldn't not of fallen into a perfect pile like they did. Even fire fighters were interviewed and they said they fell like it was planned.
I have no doubt what so ever that the Pensylvania (spelling?) plane was terrorists and passengers were killed. But the Twins Towers was set up and no plane even hit the pentagon, that part collapsed due to shoddy reconstruction work.

I know a little about buildings because i work with them everyday but im no demo expert.
Does anybody remember that at the Pentagon there were reports of a bomb going off at first? Then didn't say anything about a place hitting the Pentagon but there were reports that a bomb had gone off there and that there were fires around.

Im not a Clinton fan either. Im neither a democrat, nor republican. I am not a sheep, I form my own opinion and dont vote across the board.
I actually perferred the stance of Bob Dole when he ran against Clinton, so to show how much of a moron you really are, there is another FACT for you.

There are terrorist attacks everyday, it happened under every presidency, but what you wont read in history books is what you just mentioned james. What you will hear about is 9/11. You will hear about a huge controversey that has yet to be proved either way. Ive seen the video, there is no way in hell...from the video provided, that Im going to believe that was a 757 that flew into the pentegon. There is no way I am going to beleive that two planes that hit the TOP of the world trade centers caused a building to collapse in perfect formation without severely damaging the neighboring buildings.
I watched the Michael Moore peice and it was quiet interesting. He obviously put his spin on it, but at the same time, you can not ignore the facts that he did bring to the table. Alot of his stuff was strechted, true. But there is a lot that the US has not accounted for.
I think the truth will come out many years later, much like the fixed election in the 20s I believe, where the repubs and dems made a deal on the presidency.
There is a deeper meaning behind the world trade center attacks, because everything we have done since then has made no sense.
