The Associated Press reports the Cleveland Indians recalled IF Ramon Vazquez from Triple-A Buffalo. Vazquez was batting .241 with two home runs and nine RBI in 23 games the Bisons.

The Associated Press reports Cleveland Indians RP Guillermo Mota has been designated for assignment. Mota was 1-3 with a 6.21 ERA in 34 relief appearances.


Also Vazquez will be sent down after the first day of the double headed to make room for Guthrie
