I just read that yesterday. I’m not for public call outs personally (depending on the situation) but I struggle with disagreeing in principle. Curious to see the response from the rest of the defensive line tomorrow.

Montgomery isn’t a slouch of a back so the effort needs to be there

not a fan of this. Myles has things he needs to work on as well. Being chipped has little to do with losing contain as often as he does. Being chipped has nothing to do with being good to be penciled in for an offsides penalty basically every week. Whenever Baker talks about areas to improve he pretty much always talks about himself first and foremost . This was just reading like ‘“look at all I’ve done for you and you still don’t produce”

The video in that link only contained part of the interview but he was not charged up at all. Seemed like a normal Myles interview he was smiling and laughing when asked about Fields

Laremy Tunsil might be the best LT in football. The only other players who could even challenge him are Trent Williams, Tyron Smith, David Bakhtiari (more off reputation than production at this point) and Terron Armstead. I think I'd take Tunsil over any of them.

Laremy Tunsil might be the best LT in football. The only other players who could even challenge him are Trent Williams, Tyron Smith, David Bakhtiari (more off reputation than production at this point) and Terron Armstead. I think I'd take Tunsil over any of them.

It always cracks me up when fans gripe over canned responses, or worse, refusals to talk to the media… but then they get some real answers (that weren’t over the top) and it’s pearl clutching by all parties involved.

A confident player calling it like he sees it doesn’t automatically mean that:

A. They aren’t taking care of their own business and improving themselves constantly.
B. Self aware in general
C. Setting themselves up for being the target of ‘bulletin board material’… which is the dumbest concern to me. Like his comments will somehow legitimately impact what occurs on the field.

It’s such a non story. His comments were totally in line, interesting as hell, and good natured. I bet he has a monster game this week against an inferior OL and a more favorable LT matchup.

I don’t want to put the ‘Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane’ label on Garrett yet, but the first two games are cause for concern. From the look of things, Myles might be more interested in becoming a body builder.

Myles is clearly spending a lot of time in the weight room and I wonder if he’s gotten stiff as a result. He’s been virtually invisible through 2 weeks. Is that what you expect from a DPOY candidate?
