Myles Garrett : NFL 2023 DPOY

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I had to look twice when I saw the year this was taken... 2013!
Look how far we’ve come!

Three of these guys are currently enjoying respectable careers in fintech where they do hybrid work and post regularly on linkedin. The fourth guy manages his dad’s oil field!

Klutch is garbage.

I still don't understand how people can genuinely say this...

If you dislike the agency as fans of a team, that's fair, but there's a reason players keep *choosing* Klutch to represent them. It's because they do an absolute fantastic job at maximizing player value. If I was a GM, I'd hate them, too. As a player, there's no doubt I'd pick Klutch.

@adam81king

Yeah, I don't follow players. I follow teams. Their track record with Cleveland teams is absolutely terrible as well. I don't know how you can be a fan of a Cleveland sports team and support these Klutch clowns.

Klutch barely even matters for a player like Garrett. He’s going to get whatever market value says he’s worth plus a little more. Same as every other elite player.
I was wondering what Klutch is after here - I probably have too simplistic an understanding of the opportunities here, but Garrett has a contract through 2026 - what work is there for Klutch to do? Perhaps Marketing opportunities?

Yeah, I’d imagine they may be able to do more for him than whoever was representing him before with LeBron’s LA connections.

Nah, they get players traded by bad mouthing teams. If things get any worse for the Browns they will help force him out of CLE. It's a strategy they use all the time.

Any worse compared to what? These last three years should be remembered as the golden era for anyone who's been watching the Browns for the last twenty years.

Golden era? While they have been fun to watch, they've won a playoff game. That's it. That hardly qualifies as a golden era.

You also have to remember, while Browns fans like us might be quite pleased with how we have done the last three years, star players like Garrett probably aren't happy about going to the playoffs once and getting bounced after one playoff win.

Are we already speculating Myles Garett is going to demand a trade? Can we at least wait more than a few months into his new contract before dong this?

Some folks are treating Klutch like the boogeyman for some reason...

Despite Jedrick Wills, Greg Newsome, and Perrion Winfrey (and current Cavaliers Garland and Sexton) being clients repped by the same agency, the fear is Myles leaving. *Maybe*, IF Myles leaves at some point, it'll be because *he* wants to, not the agency wanting him to...

You saw what Klutch did with TT and the Cavs right? Completely handcuffed us around that time. Sure a player may want to leave, but you're just gonna let go the group of people that helps facilitate that move? Fuck that, they are dicks who encourage players to not honor contracts they signed. There is a reason why sports GM's hate them while not having much issue with other agencies or agents.
