Myles Garrett : NFL 2023 DPOY

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Wrong. 65 was the estimate of the HP based on physical evidence such as skid marks, etc.

20 over isn't an unusual thing. Add in a deer, an oncoming vehicle, and a fire hydrant in the wrong spot and you get a worst case scenario for a situation that the extreme majority of the time ends up with absolutely nothing happening.

Too many people are out to crucify Garrett over this. A bunch of holier-than-thou pricks in my estimation.

You can watch the cop filling out the crash report in this video. He literally asks Myles Garrett how fast he was driving. Of the answers in the video it's the only one he takes a long pause with. It's at around the 4:40 mark of the video. The cop go on to say he is going to cite him for failure to control before the video ends.

Don't really want to hear 'leader' and Myles Garrett in the same sentence anymore for the time being. Hopefully this is a wakeup call even though I thought the suspension would be, in terms of costing his team and city. Atlanta is a very winnable game and we needed our healthy talent out there. He's lucky to be alive and privileged to play in the NFL.

I'm also surprised at all the posters on here who think it's no big deal that Garrett has been caught speeding again and again and again.

The fact he's been caught several times suggests to me that he does this all the time.

Like you said, I hope this is a wake up call to slow the fuck down as it's only a matter of time that he seriously hurts himself or someone else.

This is far more concerning than the helmet thing with Mason Rudolph.

I was gonna say, it was smart for the team to rule him out even if he physically *could* play. Simply being another week removed from this incident before suiting up will help everyone involved. It’ll be less of a talking point by the media and the TV crews, etc. by doing it this way too.

Yeah this is where I’m at now.

Thank God he and the passenger are alright.

Now that that’s settled…learn how to drive like a goddamn adult. Enough is enough, and if he weren’t Myles Garrett he’d likely have a suspended license by now.

Grow up and stop being a hazard to yourself and others.

Myles Garrett also does local commercials to promote safe driving. It's either anti-drunk driving or seat belt ads.

The best sign is it took the day before the game to oficcaly rule him out, still best case scenerio when you see the car.

The video of him in the ambulance talking to the cop there is one point where he realizes that him being ambiguous with his answers was going to get him put in concussion protocol. The EMT is like we should to take you the hospital because you can't remember alot about the accident, that's a sign of a concussion. He response like I remember flashes.

Theres post after post of people in this thread talking about how they repeatedly drive fast, reckless, get in accidents, etc. No one says a thing, but folks seemingly where their violations like a badge of honor and even seem to be one-upping each other.
