Myles Garrett : NFL 2023 DPOY

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
TBF he does look like he’d drop an n.

I know we’re baiting him to say it’s because he’s white and into Trump blah blah blah.

He just looks like he’s dying to say it.

Plenty of people do. They probably aren’t. But they look like they are.

Look...the reality is, some people have incredibly punchable faces. I’m one of them.

And some people look like they want to drop an n. He’s in there.

Sort of a smug, secretive look like he wants to whisper it to you to test the waters.

If he dropped an n bomb his teammates wouldn’t be so fast to jump to his side.

Most players aren't going to call out a player on their own team, especially a quarterback, in a sport where damn near everyone is replaceable. It's better to just keep your mouth shut than to risk rocking the boat, killing team chemistry, making enemies, etc.

I’d bet there are others in here that have acted, done standup comedy or became good liars as kids out of necessity. All of those things require dishonesty at some level.

If you’re good at being dishonest, you know that you SHOULD look the person in the eye when you’re being dishonest.

If you’re good at reporting information back, you might look away from the person during a story because it’s useful to help you recall a situation frame by frame. You don’t have to focus on a person’s face and social cues and all the baggage that comes with that in addition to the story.

I’d throw the looking in someone’s eyes thing out the window with the “looking in a specific direction” while telling a lie.

Test yourself and see what you do when you lie or tell the truth to someone.

when you asked me if you were short and I said no, i looked toward the floor...

to look into your eyes.

Did we actually get any verification that the alleged "racial slur" was the "n" word, or is that just the assumption? Because I have a tougher time thinking players would cover up the "n" word as opposed to something like "get your black ass off me", etc..

Yes, Garrett said so specifically in his interview.

“Stupid n-word”

Seems like a pretty bold claim to make knowing that there are microphones all over the field, and Garrett is right that there is a microphone in Rudolph’s helmet as well.

Doesn’t strike me as a guy who just throws around an accusation.

As I have posted at the time of the incident. Logical thinking tells you that Myles is telling the truth.

1. Start with the assumption that all QBs are usually mic’d up. Myles, the Browns, and his lawyers would surely tell Myles there would be audio to confirm or deny.

2. Knowing this, Myles would only make the claim if he was certain of what happened. He didn’t know there wasn’t audio.

3. There is no longer anything to gain. Yet he is sticking with his story.

As a logical thinker, Mason said it.

In the ESPN interview Myles seemed to be calling out the NFL for not releasing or having any audio.

Meanwhile Mason and his agent claim innocence, yet neither of them brought up the idea of releasing any audio.

That seems pretty telling if you ask me.

Mason and his agent pretty much have no choice but to vehemently deny

if it’s true and it can be proven (either but admission or audio) Rudolph’s career is over And he’ll never get another check from likely his only tangible skill

The NFL who tried to bury CTE certainly would cover up a white player calling a black player the n word on the field.

They couldn't have that right after the Kaepernick situation.
