Myles Garrett : NFL 2023 DPOY

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I’m still scratching my head at how we got here...

But it’s time to get back on topic. This is the Myles Garrett thread. Thanks.

Can anyone find the odds of Myles getting a strip sack this week? No way it happens 4 weeks in a row right?

The right side of The Colts line is trash and Phillip Rivers might be the least mobile QB e face all season. I'd be surprised if Myles doesn't get a strip sack and since it's Phillip Rivers I fully expect it to happen late in the 4th quarter when we have a lead and Indy is threatening. Falls right in line with Myles making the game breaking play and Phillip Rivers having the game crushing turnover for his team. Makes too much sense for this not to happen but now since I said it that means it probably won't happen.

rivers gets rid of the ball pretty quick on short routes so if I had to venture a guess I’d say no. Haven’t seen anything with actual odds/betting though

Strip sacks don't usually happen often. Myles could go the rest of the year without getting another one and still be contending for DPOY.

Rivers also tends to throw short routes and get the ball out fast. He'll mix in some longer, big chunk plays but he'll happily take what the defense gives him. If we're stopping the Colts offense I think it'll most likely result in punts, rather than turnovers. But who knows - Rivers does have a stinky/trash side that pops up every now and then.

Rivers has always killed the Browns by getting the ball out fast. Of course, that was with the Chargers.
