Here is International Signings coming up by FG with Francisca 5 and Luis 22

JustBaseball's top-15 + 8 watch list with brief write-up on each -- not much of surprise other than overlooking Halpin for Fox and no "watch" on Hankins. They have Williams as their #1 too.

He essentially said Allen had some troubles since he was trying to develop a 4th pitch and hitters adjusted to his fastball tendencies... We gotta keep an eye of that in 23...

Honestly that was a good read...

Interesting, but seems outdated, and if Williams has the ceiling of a #2 then what the hell does a potential #1 look like? Also, there is no f'n way Bibee is our 5th best prospect. He is top 3 for sure and there is an argument that he is now Cleveland's #1 prospect.

I do like what was said about Allen as well. I hope to see him rebound.

I think Valera is a good trade candidate and this write up kinda confirms that.

Good to see Naylor and Brennan get the respect they deserve.

I see that Bleacher Report updated its top 100 Prospects (& listed another 50 as Honorable Mention) on 1/6/23.

CLE was tied with Baltimore having 6 in the top 100. LA Dodgers lead the way with 7 players in the top 100.
CLE (6): RHP Daniel Espino (19), RHP Gavin Williams (32), OF George Valera (43), C Bo Naylor (57), SS Brayan Rocchio (87), LHP Logan Allen (95)

Tanner Bibee was in the next 50 of Honorable Mentions

Am I alone in the belief that leaving Bibee outside the top 100 and ranked below Allen is preposterous. I mean it's not even close to the point it's laughable.

When they are only doing a brief write-up of 3 of each 10 groupings of prospects, it shows what BR is (a click-bait website). Thus, they want you to get mad and write about them so people check it out and come back to see if they correct their mistakes next year. Doesn't seem like there is too much in-depth analysis as it was a pure here is list without much context.

Of course Bibee sb a top-100 prospect. Yet, is being left off somewhat due to his age and meteoric rise (will take a while for some to believe the stats are backed up by talent).

Seems about right, although it doesn't take much time or effort to get a little information on a prospect. In the end it doesn't matter. This organization knows who they have and what they are. I'd just like for any player/prospect to get the respect they deserve.

I think @sportscoach put out a call for this..... BP actually went 20 deep this year. I'm looking forward to getting their Future's Guide when it is finally released

2023 Prospects: Cleveland Guardians Top Prospects

Jeffrey Paternostro and BP Prospect Staff Posted: January 9, 2023

The State of the System: Unsurprisingly, Cleveland’s system is topped by right-handed pitching prospects that have gotten stuff jumps. It’s then filled out by an seemingly endless list of interesting middle infielders and is one of the deeper organizations around overall.
