NBA FINALS 2016 | GAME 7: CAVS @ WARRIORS | JUNE 19TH, 8:00 PM

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Is this becoming the WORST year in sports for fans of the little guys? Patriots, Warriors and the Penguins win titles...

If the Yankees or Red Sox win the WS that would just be the dagger. Falcons, Predators and Cavs all lose. The small teams just getting run over.

Don't forget Gonzaga too

Let's not bring bullshit negativity into this thread.

This is a place to remember the glory which can not and will not ever be taken away from us.

Cleveland Cavaliers 2016 NBA World Champs

It is etched in gold. And, if we are going to talk about this season, we clearly saw that our win meant far more to us than just about any title won in sports history.

This is the point that sticks out to me the most. I didn't watch the trophy presentation or celebration this year as I couldn't stomach it, but I obviously saw clips on twitter and other spaces of the internet. That raw emotion we saw from so many Cleveland fans, T Lue and LeBron themselves? Just not there for this team. I mean, I'm sure they're happy, and the fans are "happy," but you can't convince me that last year's title didn't mean more to this area and LeBron specifically than any title has meant to anyone ever (I'm not sure if that sentence makes sense, whatever).

They are showing games 1-7 on NBATV this Saturday.

This glorious game is currently airing on NBATV.

So I've come up with a way to get through my morning work-outs. I watch the final quarter of Game 7 each morning to battle through 30 minutes of perspiration and strain. Great technique for those that dread exercise but know they should be doing it!
