LeBron needs to be the 3rd best player on a team to win a ring. AD occasionally let him be the 2nd best player but for the most part LA asked Bron to do too much. No way you are asking him to score 30, AND play make. Get him a PG and let him off ball and post up 100% or get him a Bradley Beal and let him be a point guard 100%. He’s too old to do everything. He’s already taken defense almost completely out his game.

Mike Malone needs to be getting more love in here for figuring out how to maximize Jokic abilities within the offense and for putting him in good defensive situations. This is the first time in NBA history that a Point Center has lead his team to a championship. Malone figured that shit out.

And also I don't like George Carl for how he talked shit about some of his players so its nice to know Malone's name will be mentioned first when talking about the Denver Nuggets.

He played decent defense in the playoffs. I think the Nuggets are just a great team and it takes a great team to beat them. Lebron averaged 24.5-10-6.5 on 58% true shooting with 2.2 stocks in the 2023 playoffs, while being hampered by his foot problems. That’s a solid second best player. But he’s not a one man team any more, and it’s questionable whether he’ll be able to get fully healthy again.

The Lakers may or may not be able to add talent and may or may not benefit from a year to gell as a team, but it’s unclear whether they can ever again get AD and Lebron to the playoffs both healthy at the same time. I don’t think it’s impossible for them to win a championship but they’ll need absolutely everything to break their way

That's a screaming hot take, but I'm with you on that.

There's going to be some slippage next season, so his defense is likely to get worse. Yes, he can still bring it in a game but it definitely shows in the next one. That's not enough to be the No. 2 guy on a championship team.
