NBA Finals Game 1 | Cavs @ Warriors | June 4th | 9:00pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Well, Shump and Delly have to step up. And they all need to play historic defense and slow the game way down.

Keep punching them. Punchers always have a chance. In the Warriors' minds they have already won. Give 'em a broken nose and disabuse them of the notion.

This just made my night. Going to bed now.

Yep this is how I feel 100 percent. if the injury is not a Crowder type and Kyrie is sank. The Warriors are to deep for us to compete with only two real useful bench players left.

Just play better and win Sunday. The Cavs actually had lots of breakdowns and still could have won. JR had a poor shooting night. Gert Mosgov more touches and play hard nosed. Win Sunday and we get home court advantage. This is far from over.

We still have the best player in the world. I remember a very young, not nearly the leader LeBron in 2007, down 0-2 versus the world champion Pistons. He willed the Cavs to victory in game 5.

We still have better players than that team.

Cavs in six. Stayin with it. Good night, get some sleep. Stay tough Cleveland.

Why the fuck won;t LeBron drive the ball it's either

a) a foul

b) a score

c) a kickout

The fadeaways don't work

A. Because Refs
B. Because Refs
C. This is a good point.

Fuck, I know I am not someone who can sit here and type about the plight of Cleveland sports, but this NBA postseason, in particular, is just horrible with injuries for the Cavs. Whatever decision is made on Irving I will respect, but its a damn shame he shows a pretty stellar outing (23 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals) only to have it seem to be all erased by one leg movement.

After the game, I was going to come here and post my take on how it all played out, but this Kyrie thing is hitting me hard right now. Obviously we don't know what's the deal yet but before that, I could probably find some silver lining to game 1, despite it being a loss.

I can't now. This loss stings, especially when you have a magical night like that from James and no one besides Irving shows up. How the hell do you seemingly control the tempo of the entire game UNTIL over time? Made 1 shot in that final session, if there was one game to steal in Golden State this was looking like it.

If anyone of Smith, Shumpert or even Delly stepped up, this could have been a different outcome. Obviously this loss and the Kyrie thing hurts but there is one thing I know about basketball, don't count out anyone. They took the Warriors to OT in their arena and it took just a horrendous OT to lose that game. I wouldn't be too confident if I was them but then again, the Cavs did force OT with a more than adequate Irving out there. Who knows, that is why you play the games. Anything can happen and right now, while it hurts, its just 1 game. You get the win in game 2 and you did what needed to be done. Not all hope is lost.

You know what this is a odd time to bring this up and in the wrong thread I am sure... But where has Storm Stunderland I think it was? Anyways what happened to that guy? Hmmmm?

Still pretty confident, GSW are a very good team but not the unstoppable team the media would make us believe. The injuries are just heartbreaking as we deal with these 4-1 at worst if we are healthy.

I don't think Moz traveled but you have to admit that looked awkward in real time.

Yea that 3 by Klay was freaking huge. That albino fucker stroked that shit from well beyond the line.

Again Draymond Green gets away with murder the way he talks to refs. He intimidates them every time they call a foul on him.

Why do refs seemingly go out of their way to make shitty foul calls on Tristan? And then It takes Tristan getting clipped in the air or flagrantly pulled to the ground to get a call.

LeBron stay your ass in the post. J.R. had some clean looks but couldn't convert.

Moz you've been the whipping boy of the officials ever since we started looking like world beaters. That being said, don't you ever go soft reverse layup again in your life.

Kyrie's probably gone (on a play where Thompson clearly rode him from the three point line to the foul line mind you) for the series.

Next Man Up. This is the finals. If we go down, we go down fucking fighting.

Let's see if there's anymore magic Blatt. Maybe Delly on Thompson. IDK but we need to try something.

Fucking Mo Speights man...christ.

Oh and I'm not blaming refs for the loss...more so ranting.

Anyone who wasn't expecting Kyrie's leg to crumble was A. Lying to themselves or B. Only hoping for the best but not accepting reality.

This game hurts because it as in our hands. Now with the loss of Kyrie we have to rely on the streaky 3 point shooting that has helped us out so far to win 4 games against Golden State. Lebron controls ball, either drives or kicks it out. THIS is all we have. I'm not saying it's impossible but it's gonna be pretty damn hard for us to rise above and squash these dudes. A statement win would've been last night when it was our game to take and we let them have it.

Yeah this team is basically '07 Finals Cavs with Kyrie out.

We Should of got the win in regulation ...But those whistles in O.T. for Curry was weak .
This is the finals you don't let them win at the line Make them earn it.. But it is what it is and who said it was going to be easy I wouldn't want it any other way ..

Go Cavs...

The whistles Klay got to keep them in the game, late in the 4th, were weak as well.

The whistle on TT for Bogut holding his jersey, on Kyrie's layup, was weak.

The whistle on Mozgov's textbook pivot was weak.

The whistles on Curry Paul Piercing his way to 4 FTs in OT were just the icing on the cake.

The Cavs had opportunities to separate themselves and build a comfortable lead, but the refs squandered all of them.

For as piss poor as we played in OT I only think the Warriors hit like one FG.
