NBA Finals Game 4: Warriors @ Cavs, June 10, 2016, 9:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
the warriors are literally the best team in NBA history. if not for that, your shortcut theory means nothing. it's called timing
Luck has more to do it with than anything. Curry drafted at no. 7, Klay drafted at #11, Draymond a second round pick, Igoudala signing, and the coup de grace - Mark Jackson. No way is the team what is today without the inept Mark Jackson. No one knew how good the Warriors were because they were being held back by such a terrible coach. Mark Jackson's ineptitude let Curry and Klay develop to some semblance of the players they are today, then a coach with half a brain comes in and leverages those talents to create a system that makea it easier for every single role player. A high tide rises all ships, and Klay and Steph are a tsunami. They proved it in games 5,6,7 against OKC and did so again tonight. But how that tsunami came about was pure happenstance.

I was at the game tonight the entire vibe felt good until the 4th quarter. First off I wanna say I'm ready for game 5 and if we get this win at the oracle I see it going 7 games!

What I noticed.

Offense-
Free throws...11 missed free throws

Only Kyrie was creating for himself and only he could finish at the rim.

LeBron just puts his head down and dribbles to the rim which creates 3 possible scenarios in this order.

1. He falls down and turns it over.
2. He passes out to someone at the 3 and they do nothing with it
3. He shoots the layup and misses because the defense fouled the shit out of him. (He has to be stronger and finish or at least make his free throws)

Defense
They got a lot of petty fouls called on them.

The play where the ball hit iggys leg and we didn't get the ball could've been big

They kept getting caught in screens causing Mismatches or a guy getting left behind

Things are going downhill for the Warriors too. I think they won't be a force anymore in the next season. Just shitty plays, much love from the refs and fucking lucky shots. That's not a long lasting recipe. Basketball was all about passion, love of the game, hard fought games but you had respect for your opponent. Nowadays just a bunch of cocky motherfuckers playing a game dictated by the refs. What a joke! If Lance Stephenson blows in the ear of an Warriors player he would get called for a flagrant 2

no reason the refs wont favor them til steph retires

Honestly though, while we've been playing in "chill mode" and waiting to "turn the switch on" GS has only been getting better and better AND BETTER. I knew GS would win this series, I thought in 7, but will probably be less.

You just can't fucking turn a switch on and become a champion. It's not how it works. You play hard every fucking game and develop the team. When shit gets tough you have a lot to rely on when you do that. We have nothing to rely on.

I know being down 3-1 in the Finals a team has never come back to win but in the same breathe Cavs have never won a Championship either. We just gotta take it one game at a time. It could happen. Highly unlikely but you gotta Believe.

Well when I was a kid I never thought I could send a text message on forum in thread that contains my post seen by people who moderate this forum so yeah lets go back to children and hope for a miracle.
