NBA Finals | Game 5 | Cavs @ Cowards| June 12, 2017 | 9:00pm EST | ABC

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Lebron always gets fouled and refs turned their head

Shouldn't surprise yall

Boys laid it out there and fought. Only team in the post season to take a game off the GS front runners. Sucks but they played hard and laid it out there.

You can't tell me Curry is better than Durant. We're winning this game if we could keep him in check.

Tonight was the only game in which he directly had more of an impact than Curry. In addition, KD was getting assisted on 65--70% of his basket while the "lesser" talented player was only getting assisted on 25%. Curry was creating his offense while that coward was feasting off of Curry's gravity for open shots.

Before tonight, with Curry off the court and KD on court, the Warriors were being heavily outscored per 100 possessions. With Curry on court and KD off court, the Warriors were heavily outscoring the Cavs. I'm waiting for the final numbers to get updated. We're talking about a 30 point difference per 100 possessions.

In the playoffs before the finals:

With Curry on and KD off the court, the Warriors were outscoring opponents by 27 points per 100 possessions (better then their overall NET rating).

With KD on and Curry off, the Warriors were outscored by 8.5 per 100 possessions,

Regular season--same story.

Whether KD was on court or not, the Warriors ran a historic offense and NET margins throughout the regular season, playoffs, and the finals as LONG AS CURRY was on court.

When Curry was off, Durant led the Warriors to modest NET differentials and was OUTSCORED in the playoffs and finals.

BOTTOM LINE: Curry didn't need Durant. Durant needed Curry.
