NBA Finals Game 6 | Warriors @ Cavaliers | June 16, 2015 | 9:00pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It is very important that Blatt stop doubling Curry, it's fucking our defense up. He showed that if he's on his day, there's not much you can do. And if he isn't, you're wasting one man on defense.

And just keep small ball. Open up the court, go all in. James should drive a lot, he'll probably get the calls next time, while resting while shooting free throws.

If Blatt pulls these 2 measures, I'm confident we'll see a Cavs win.
I disagree with this. Curry went off after we stopped doubling him. If we double and force Green to beat us, sign me up.

So are we going to hack Iguodala or what?

Start Joe Harris and use up his fouls right away... :chuckle:
Im all about it, but whose to say they wont hack Thompson? While he seems to be a better FT shooter, the law of averages suggest Iggy wont shoot as bad, and TT may not shoot as well as he has.

I personally would love to see 6 fouls used to start the game on Iggy, and 6 to start the 4th. If needed 6 more after half lol.

Boy oh boy would the NBA powers at be shit themselves if Game 7 was Hack-a-Iggy vs Hack-a-Tristan.

If the Warriors start pulling away, I hope to God fans don't start leaving early like they did in Game 4. Have some pride. This team has played their asses off and hardly anyone expected them to last more than 5 games after Kyrie went down. To think they still have a somewhat reasonable chance of winning the championship despite injuries to 3 of our top 7ish players is actually incredible.

So Cleveland fans at the Q better stay until the final buzzer and give the team a rousing ovation regardless of the outcome.

That made me sick to my stomach. No way in hell I've ever left early, especially in the playoffs.

Does anyone think LeBron proclaiming himself the best on the planet was to try and get a little further into Currys head? Add a little extra pressure?

I think it causes us to wear down quickly. Too much scrambling around trying to rotate and guys getting switched on guys they shouldn't be guarding. I think we should have Moz in there a lot more and a little less TT.

JR/Shump/JJ/LeBron/Moz is an offensive line-up I'd like to see.

I actually want Blatt to start the game with the small ball lineup we had to start the second half and bring Moz in as a six-man. Make sure Miller, JR, and JJ are in with him. If they double, hope he can kick out to the open shooters and hope to hell they hit some shots. If we can get a few minutes a half out of that line-up it could mean wonders for LeBron in the 4th qtr....

Maybe it's just wishful thinking though

Thing is doubling Curry we are not forcing Green to beat us. We are simply leaving an open guy for them.

The moment Curry sees the double, he's passing the ball. It makes guys run like crazy in the rotation to catch it up, everyone gets late on their man.

It's a gamble not to double him, but to double him looks like a lost bet to me. It just gets too easy for their offense. While Cavs players will get rattled of running like madmen in defense and LeBron in offfense. Can't be done IMO, also because of fatigue.

Basically stop over thinking and just play basketball. Defend as best as you can. This may not be our year unfortunately and it makes me sick to see this Warriors team win it. All we have now is hope.

I think playing Hack-a-Iggy might be a good move.

Joe Harris, Mike Miller, and Shawn Marion aren't super important to our team success apparently, so that's 18 fouls you've got to waste on our wings. Use them.

all curry has to do is beat a backup point guard off the dribble and watch as iggy defends lebron

there is none and will never be pressure on curry unless it's game 7 and he's down 1 point with 2 free throws left and no time left on the clock

One trend in this series is that the team who takes a 1 game lead has lost the following game.

Warriors up 1-0, lost game 2.
Cavs up 2-1, lost game 4.

We'll see if the trend continues.

What's more is that they both lost the next game as well. Hopefully that trend continues as well.
