Someone is going to give Cam Johnson a max contract aren't they?

Tony Snell: “Now just wait a gotdamn minute here”

For as much as I couldn’t stand this cat years ago— his outlook and overall perspective continues to impress…. Potentially Bi-Polar…

Ive been fiddling with rebuilt confrences in 2k for a while now. OKC is always a damn problem. I usually end up dumping them in a division with Portland, Sea, and one other team. IIRC i had to pair Florida, Atl and Mem to make it work
How does Seattle merit an expansion team when they didn’t support the Sonics??

Wasn't it more of the team being taken similar to Clevland bc the owner found a city more willing to build new facilities? This isn't like the Athletic's fans which really don't show up.

Oh was that it?? If that’s the case then okay!!

Yeah, Clay Bennett, the Thunder's owner, is also the owner of the Chesapeake Energy, which is based out of Oklahoma City. It's a not so conspiracy, conspiracy theory that Bennett's ownership team never had good faith in negotiating with the City of Seattle and their intention in buying the Sonics franchise was to move them to Oklahoma City, regardless of facilities. One of Co-founders of Chesapeake Energy and a former member of Bennett's ownership group said in an interview in 2007 that the ownership group bought the franchise with no intention of keeping them in Seattle. The NBA fined him $250,000 for his comments.

I don’t think there is much question that an investment group made primarily of Oklahomans was hoping to bring the team to Oklahoma. But the people of Seattle made it easy by refusing to fund major facility improvements. Interestingly enough, OKC is now in a similar position. The arena they play in is now 20 years old and will need replaced pretty soon. If it’s not, the franchise will probably move again. It’s just the way these things work. Investors/owners are somewhat loyal to their communities, but when billions of dollars are at stake, loyalties can change

This is a big reason why I've long held the belief that *cities* should own teams, not billionaires looking to make as much as they can.

I am soooooo tired of Cryie’s BS! Last night he taped a message to his shoes (regarding Nike cutting ties with him) saying “I AM FREE…Thank you, God! I AM”!
Give it a rest, Cryie!!!!! Nobody believes for ONE MINUTE that you are happy to be free from a contract that pays you millions of dollars! And he has to know no other shoe company is going to sign him to another deal because of his behaviors!
He and Antonio Brown need some serious mental health treatment for their thought distortions!!!!

They literally made this against the rules because of Green Bay. Expecting the city to pay for stuff while they are making billions is one of the worst grifts in the world.

If you externalize the costs, they need to externalize the profits. It's just that easy.

In the last 8 games as a starter, Collin Sexton is averaging 17.75 ppg, 5.5 apg, 2.5 TOs, on 56% fg%, and 39% 3-pt%. Only 2 boards per game though. I don't know about his defense but he's been positive +/- in 6 of the 8 games.
