Just read that after the Finals Shannon Sharpe and Fox 1 is completing a buyout of him being a co host of Undisputed. I know he and Skip Bayless had a few issues that got heated (especially the Damar Hamlin incident).
At least now when I watch the show I won’t have to listen about just the Lakers and Cowboys every day 2-3 times during the show. It was real tiresome hearing about the Cowboys, Dak, Micha Pardons along with the Lakers and LBJ every show.
Not sure if Undisputed is going to continue or not.

This could be a shift in how Fox sports is prioritizing their programing and costs. ESPN is talking about offering standalone service which could the final nail for cable to die. ESPN has been putting a lot more content on YouTube also recently.

The space is getting more crowded with these types of sport take shows and a lot of it is free. It might not make sense to pay good money to on air talent if they aren't keep subscribers on cable. Sports rights can shift to broadcast if cable dies, it's really the only thing that brings in good ad revenue anyways. Fox doesn't really want to be in the streaming game and the talking head stuff doesn't makes sense to shift to broadcast.

You'll still have to hear about The Lakers and Cowboys because skip decides what they talk about. That was the issue that Shannon had. He wanted more say so on the topics (according to Marcellus Wiley).

Nice to have the focus on basketball games but now we’ll be back in the “Real Housewives” zone talking about the two aforementioned gentlemen along with Kyrie, Harden, LeBron and other players noted more for headlines than playing in the Finals these days.
