ND to schedule cupcakes?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yes they are. Colin Cowherd on xm was ripping notre dame fans who thought there schedule is soooo tough. I was busting up.

I hope beating up on teams like Arc Pine Bluff gives them satisfaction, too bad Quinn has to wait another year and a half to get his head ripped off by AJ again :chuckles:

I really can't stand Notre Dame for the simple fact that no one gave a rats ass about the program 2 years ago, now they win a few games and everyone is spraining an ankle to get on the band wagon. Oh well if we lose to Texas again I won't be terribly disappointed because at least we have the confidence to face them. I mean scheduling Michigan isn't exactly what it once was, Lloyd Carr has turned that team into 2nd rate material.

CDT, just b/c Michican can not beat some very good Ohio State teams doesn't mean that they suck. Carr keeps taking them to Bowl games every year, including a Rose Bowl just last year, where they lost on a last second miracle to Texas. Michigan has, and for the most part will always be, stout. The same can be said for OSU, which is why the rivalry is so fantastic.

lol....nobody has ever stopped caring about ND, its just that when a team starts winning they get a lot of publicity. Same with OSU when they have been on their run recently.

OSU can never say anything about Notre Dames schedule...OSU pays out over a million dollars every year to play their MAC schedule that includes 2-3 MAC games a year, which is just pathetic.

Its about time OSU finally got some real non-conference games, it took them long enough.

OSU Schedule

2006 - @ 2005 Nat'l Champion Texas Longhorns #2 overall
2007 - @ Washington Huskies (I think that's their name..but Washington)
2008 - @ USC Trojans
2009 - USC Trojans
2010 - Miami Hurricanes
2011 - @ Miami Hurricanes
2012 - Cal Golden Bears (Site TBA)
2013 - Cal Golden Bears (Site TBA)
2014 - @ Virginia Tech
2015 - Virginia Tech

Not to mention Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, Penn State, and Minnesota are all on the schedule this year and were ranked in The Top 25 at some point last year, some of them being in The Top 10

You were saying?

they schedule as far ahead as 2015? your bassing that schedule on how good a team is right now, in 2006, these games are 10 years away.

looking at the schedules of each team imo ND has 5 easy games and OSU has 5 easy games as well.

OSU makes millions off every home game. It's about money, not playing easy opponants. Good teams won't play in your house with out requiring you to play one at theirs. Crappy MAC teams will. There are only so many games a year, and the more that are in Ohio Stadium, the more money the university makes. Likewise, MAC schools often make as much money playing one game in Ohio Stadium as they do the whole rest of their season. They will gladly go to Columbus to get their ass beat by the Buckeyes. It's all about the cash.

In a 11 years man you never know man. It's all about Pete Caroll, he turned around USC. He leaves, they better get in another good coach.

there arent to many programs in college for any sport that have deacdes of excellence, you never know, all schools have rough times. look at UNC with basketball, they had a couple rough years. same could be said with georgetown basketball, i cant really speak on college football, because im not knowledgable in the area, but i do know no program always has good times.

Like I was saying CDT, OSU fans can never say anything about ND schedules. They just now started to consistantly schedule real teams, Im glad they finally got some real opponents. Its about time. Meanwhile, ND usually has the toughest schedule for the last 100 years. Theirs is based of tradition and of course there are times when it is down due to some teams being down at the time, but there is no denying that ND has a tough schedule year in and year out.

That's ridiculous. I realize you put the chuckles in there, but since OSU started scheduling some "real opponants" (Mac's words, not mine), they've been top 5 or 10 in strength of schedule, and even prior to that they were always better than most, just with the Big Ten games alone.
