I think it's dumb in itself to allow a low-quality poster dictate what you should and shouldn't read.

Look, i didn't say i would let a single poster dictate what i do and do not read. I was pretty clear in my examples that when i see multiple people rating posts a certain way it helped me skim through them quickly.

I'm guessing "dumb" will eventually be removed. As i said, the system probably needs tweaking, but i hope we are left with more than "like" and "dislike".

Anything that spurs real discussion is good. I tend to think "Disagree" is a good one that could serve as a reason for a poster to explain their post/opinion better, but "Dumb" just seems like it will eventually breed bickering.

"Bad Spelling" is pretty much Torn's exclusively.

It's a general mindset of the world. Bullying is bad. Everyone's feelings matter. Etc etc. Supposedly grown adults whining because some random person on the internet said their post was dumb. It's clear a lot of people never got out of grade school and are still upset they got picked last to play kickball.
