Is anybody a member there? It took me four months to get posting privileges there because they take forever to click a button.

It took me all of one day to get banned there because I posted in a basketball thread criticizing Kevin Durant. What I didn't know was one of the mods there is from SF and thus a warriors fan.

Here is the post that got me banned as well as the reason for the ban.

It is unfortunately still the largest gaming forum. That being said it appears to have turned into a shithole ruled via iron fist by abusive and corrupt mods. There are accusations of paid shills that have been turned into mods that will just ban people for questioning their promotion of whatever product they are secretly advertising.

The guy that banned me is accused of working for a marketing firm that promotes fast food products. He even has a shitty blog called "brand eating."

Yeah, I hate that I waited four months and was banned within an hour for criticizing that bitch Kevin Durant from a warriors fan mod that is a fast food astroturfer. I didn't realize the place was so disgusting until afterwards.

Apparently that place likes to think of itself s a moral beacon for social justice. They ban people at the drop of a hat for perceived misogyny, racism ect. Yet their owner once bragged about sexually assaulting a women overseas and apparently also obtained a photo of a rival websites owners girlfriends, jizzed on it, and posted it.

As far as i'm aware not disclosing that posted content on a blog or forum is an ad is in fact against the FTC's guidelines. It sounds like the place is corrupt to the core and as hypocritical as you can possibly get.

I don't know what FTC violations you're talking about, nor am I sure as to how social justice makes them corrupt. I also don't know about the "owner" sexually assaulting women; so can't comment on it.

All I can say is that I've posted there lightly for years, never had any issues. If their owner really is a rapist, I wouldn't post there any longer though...

But beyond that, I mean.. I honestly just don't see the problem bro? At least not to get so worked up over it...

I mean, you ran into a shitty mod.. it happens.. I wouldn't sweat it.. life moves on, no?

@gourimoko I don't have a problem with social justice per-say. I'm against Misogyny, racism, ect. I have a problem with hypocrisy and perceived Misogyny, racism, and witch hunts.

It's not that I ran into a shitty mod. I was permanently banned for criticizing Kevin Durant. Is that not extreme? If I really wanted to post there I would have to wait another four months. It's ridiculous. They think of themselves as this exclusive club, but they have fascists running the joint and everybody is walking on egg shells.

Okay guys, I get it, nobody here gives a shit. I thought maybe someone was a regular poster there and had more insight. I guess not.

I didn't think something needed to be of the utmost importance as far as social or economic impact to be worthy of discussion here.

I just think you ran into a shit mod; it's a bad experience, and I get it. But to be fair Ty, you took it pretty far here man; I mean.. it's one thing to lay into NeoGaf, but .. you kinda flipped out here, don't you think?

I tried reaching out via their support email before I found out all that other info. The site took 4 months to approve to post. It's like a walled off community. There is no way they're going to listen to me.

Also, I don't think I took it too far. It's just information I dug up after the fact. I don't go on places to blast social justice warriors. I certainly don't do that here do I? I like to have a good discussion.
