New Ad Network

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Ads are determined by the users usage outside RCF.

It is why I get ads from Brooks Brothers and Paul Stuart constantly.

RCF is neither biased toward one candidate or party or another, nor does it ban political speech; it keeps it in a single place because people can't help but be assholes to each other when discussing it.

Ultimately and also, a sports site has no duty to provide a forum for political speech at all.

Interesting, all my ads are for penis pumps, blow up dolls and Vaseline, I jus thought it was because RCF knows how to party.

I get a lot of naked, fat, leather clad biker dude ads.

Must be chrome. I post to RCF from work and don't look up political stuff on my work computer.

I really wanted to hear from Ben because no one addressed whether he was taking money from the Trump Campaign. I cannot donate in good conscience unless that is cleared up.

Are you getting Biden ads? I am curious because I haven't at all and I read stuff about Biden as well. We can agree to disagree that RCF doesn't give preferential treatment to conservatives.

I have seen no political ads at all. Thankfully.

The quoted post is correct. There is also a few other factors. Your location is one and cost.

You read a political article? You're going to get ads with others.
You live in the battleground state or frequent a website in a battleground state? You're getting political ads regardless if you even plan on voting.
You frequent small websites where buying 50 ad views are cheaper than 1 ad view from ESPN? You're getting political ads.
You're seeing Trump ads and not Biden? That's because Trump is spending right now and Biden is not.

As for my personal politically affiliation... its none of anyone's business. That's why the politics thread is hidden, can't be searched by google and isn't promoted heavily. Donate or don't but let's keep the political talk where its supposed to be. *Hint* it's not in here.

I'm starting to get some random autoplay audio for about 2 seconds and then quiet (my tablet is always set to mute but this gets through somehow). The minute media roving ad is most annoying and might be the culprit.

If I make a monthly donation to go ad free will it make up for your lost ad revenue? And I'm not even sure how to do that.

Click on your name in the right hand corner > Account Upgrades.

And I believe that's the point of ad free. I'm sure we get a little discount, but enough people paying would keep the website easily self sufficient, especially during the down times.

@Ben

I will donate $50 right now if I can never see the "Stayin' Alive / Cav for Life" parody video autoplay on my browser again. Also, I'd be willing to double my donation to punch that douchebag from the video in the taint.

$50 buys you a year of ad free viewing. Best investment I ever did.

Not to mention the data it will save when browsing on 4G, as I do at breakfast. Those auto-play videos cost me about $15/month in data!

I'm in the same boat. I want to slit my wrists watching him or slit his, not sure which.

If we want to remove the video ad as long as we replace it's revenue I'd be more than happy to do so. It generates $225.00 a month for us.
