A lot of heroes tonight. Toughness and rebounding won this one AND FREE THROWS(cept or Andy at the end).
Snow, Sasha and Anderson combined for 22 rebounds....we outboarded them by 18.
Z had a quiet game, but came up with 5 big blocks.
Lebron shook off a pathetic 1st half with a big 2nd....and did a solid job on RJ.
Snow played real solid D....Sasha and AV played hard too.
Real nice seeing the fellas not back down when things got heated. This is turning into a nice rivalry. This win was huge in the grand scheme of things. Going down 3-0 after losing out to them in the playoffs last year would have been disastrous.

Re: Newble .. he isn't right ...his foot isn't allowing him to play his game ....they are giving him time to try and get it right. With Sasha coming on and Hughes return on the horizon, I'm beginning to get the feeling that outside of some situational matchups that will come up, Ira's minutes may be dissolving.

The Cavs are fortunate they battled with the Pistons the night before. That wasnt the best the Nets can play. Fortunately we took advantage of it despite poor play in the 1st half. I diddnt realize James was close to a triple-double. Sasha was Huge!!!

Sasha is a good player, Paxson did right with him. At first i gave Pax alot of Heat about it and now i noticed what he seen in him.
Sasha might not be a all-star caliber 2/3 but he is good.

Not the prettiest game but nice to get a win against a good conference team.
Lebron got the triple double but it wasn't his best effort. A few times he made some very questionable decisions with the ball and his D wasn't the greatest tonight. Still ended up with a good game and he does get judged differently than the average player.
I liked Sasha's effort tonight. He really played tough and got into Carter's head. He even did alright with his tough defensive matchup on Kidd. Sasha has to continue to play a role the rest of the year even after Hughes gets back and if Newble gets healthy.
Varejao and Jackson also played pretty well. I'm getting tired of Jones and Marshall forcing up bad 3's early in the shotclock. I have to think Brown is fine with them doing this since it's gone on all year.
Another game where the Cavs forget they have a 7-3 C. They didn't look to Z in the 2nd half at all. Gooden was big early then sat on the bench. His scoring helped the Cavs stick around in the 1st half though.

this is the second time my estimate of the score was only 2 points off!lol i only got to see the first quarter cause of basketball practice.i am waiting to see the highlights after the college bball game.
