New music thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just saw Blink-182 live last night... I know they are not new. And I also know Tom Delonge - maybe my favorite guitar player - is not with them anymore.

But damn, they put on an amazing show! Lil Wayne opened and quit the tour after a twenty minute set. But Blink more than made up for it. I cannot believe how much sound those three guys could make. To only have three musicians while simultaneously filling all three elements of a soundscape. It was crazy.

My 2 favorite artists are solo artists that loop everything. I love watching Keller Williams build his songs through different loops/instruments etc. It's a blast to see live.

And if you haven't seen Marc Rebillet on FB, you're missing the fuck out.

That whole concept of creating solo, multi-tracked live compositions on stage was started by...none other than King Crimson founder and guitarist Robert Fripp, using on-stage multilayering techniques with a guitar and analog tape machines to create songs way back in the 70's.

Changed it up later to add digital stuff, which also was done live on stage.

Surprisingly, I'm quite familiar with my prog rock.

Feel like Imogen heap should be mentioned here.

This guy is too good

Slipknot came out with a couple new songs. Solway firth is filthy.

They're playing two hours away Saturday, tempted to go

How fucking bad is soundcloud rap

The gimmick is fucking goofy. I'm fine with dumb music but it isn't even listenable. There is nothing redeeming about this genre

Wanna be a baller by lil Troy is absolutely void of any talent. I have no idea how this is on the radio.

Seriously listen to this shit

No give me a few songs
Ozma, backstreets (chorus), point of being right, onion

Both the girl and the dude have legit special voices.

Just got around to finally sitting alone and throwing this on speaker; I don’t know about you, but that guitar work reminds me of vampire weekend a bit. Their harmony is fucking elite. That lady’s singing looks absolutely effortless. Really enjoyed that.

Vw is the first band I use to compare them for someone.

Doo wop surf indie stuff. Like it all sounds new to me and like they have serious chops but they likely have a bunch of influences that I've never even heard of

Kind of a frustrating band tho. Saw them live and they specifically played none of their best stuff. That kind of band
