Hey everyone.... I am heading to New Orleans for the Browns game in September. I have never been but want to see what some good restaurants and bars I should check out. Also any things I must do while I’m there. Lastly, is Bourbon Street the real deal? Thanks

Been a dozen times.

Bourbon is fun, but check out Frenchman street right next to the French Quarter, where the locals go and great live music.

Lord Chaz Haunted tour is a must if you are into campy fun haunted tours. its 2 hours, starts in a bar, breaks in a bar after an hour and ends in a bar. Lots of fun, over the top on purpose, but also accurate real haunted history

Get a Hurricane at Cats Meow, last time I was 32oz for $8, insane.

Get a Hand Grenade at Tropical Isle, very strung but yummy drink with cool souvenir glass.

A tour of a grave yard is fun, really depends on how long you have.

WWII museum is amazing, taking a ride to Garden District on a trolley is fun, tons of restaurants, you can use google to find good ones like Acme Oyster Bar, or so many others.

Like I said, been a ton

dirty fucking city. it's my least favorite place in US

Tipitina's is an old music venue where all the great blues guys played. Off the beaten path, but really cool old venue.

Gotta have “Barbecue” shrimp and Pascal’s Manale is a fun place to eat it.

Massive head on shrimp in this garlic, butter, white wine concoction. They tie a bib on you like you’re some kind of asshole toddler.

Fantastic wedge salad and bread pudding too.

Also if you tip enough they have a realdoll they bring out to the table and you can eat beignets out of it’s plastic asshole. You pick the gender.
