They have been filming the show Gooebumps the past few days a few streets from me has anyone seen it?

Best episode of SNL in years

Season 2 of Tokyo Vice was just as good as the first season.

I watch the regime, I thought it was alright. I don't have anything bad to say about it but nothing about it was that special. It's entertaining enough to watch if you have HBO but I wouldn't go out of my way to subscribe to watch it. Binge it when there are other things you want to watch from HBO.

Ripley on Netflix was good. I liked how it was in black and white. The acting is good and the settings are real nice. Not dramatically different from what I remember from the movie. I could see Netflix wanting to make the rest of the books even though they said it's a limited series.

X-Men '97 is real good. If you watched X-Men the animated series as a kid, it picks up right where it left off. The odd thing is it doesn't feel like a kids show so I'm not sure if they made this version more for adults or the original animated series was just not as much of a kids show that I thought it was.

Shogun on Hulu has also been very good. I had been watching it with subtitles but realized there is a dubbed version too. For me the dubbed version is a much easier watch but that's because I get easily distracted and stop reading the subtitles then have to rewind so episodes take too long for me to finish.

Yeah, the episode of x-men that came out today just showed it’s way more geared for adults. Wow, what an episode. May be the best one of the series, and that includes the original seasons.

I watched last night and was speechless for a bit.

So well done, especially Magneto.

Chilling, truly.

@KI4MVP

How is DS9 coming along?

I had to set it aside for a little while. My daughter came home from college for the eclipse and goes back Saturday, so we finished hte season on Monarch and watched most of the related movies Kong Skull Island, Godzilla 2014, Godzilla vs Kong and then we went to Godzilla x Kong today. All enjoyable if you set aside the plot holes and the changing laws of physics.

So I've only watched the next couple of episodes of season 2. I really enjoyed Garak in Cardassians. Current plan is to skip the next two (Melora and Rules of Acquisition) and watch Necessary Evil next.
